Oh so I don't let on that I know about this £99 surplus then....
I wouldn't at this stage, then they can't accuse you of bumping up your I&E to keep below it.
As your surplus is only £1 over it would seem they don't think you know about it and are trying their luck, they've taken £2 off your insurances just to get you over the threshold.
I think it's reasonable to say you'd forgotten about school dinners & karate as it's been the summer holidays, these things go to the back of nyour mind when you haven't been budgetting for them for 6 weeks.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

that's what I thought about the £2....crafty hey!
I'm going to look at my utilities again, think I just put say £10 wk gas {cos on pre-payment meter} and took Junes quaterly bill which was 75 pound and just put £20 down for elec....but now with all the rises and the horrible summer and winter looming...
