Income Payment agreement

Hi
after a little help/advice

I've been declared bankrupt and had a long telephone interview with the OR office, and they've sent me Income payment agreement
when i spoke to the woman she said i had a surplus of £100 month and they'd take £50 a month, i've since gone back and looked at my budget and realised i hadn't included my £15 internet, and I'd put down £20 per month for tax, mot and repairs....my dad has said that doesn't seem enough as it's £120 per yr for tax, £53 for mot.....which leaves me with £73 for repairs....does anyone know what a realistic amount would be
thanks P

Could really do with some help....thought this was nearly over....it's stressing me out again!!!!

    Hi,

I think most people would agree that the Internet is something which the OR either do or do not allow - I know mine didnt, as well as stories from here where they have agreed it - if they do not agree to include it they expect you to pay for it from your surplus left over.

Ultimately an IPA is an agreement, which is agreed between yourself and the OR, if you dont agree to it you have the right to ask for items to be considered/reconsidered - however by doing this it would take you below the £99 surplus per month needed for them to have an IPA done - so it then depends what your OR is like I dare say.

Yes i have to agree with dee. Someone put their SOA on here,as they wanted to dispute their IPA the other day and their allowances were beyond generous. Sometimes it is better to quit whilst ahead;) . Put it up and we can see if there is room for improvement.D

Do you need your internet for work/study? It seems a shame to have to pay £50 per month because you're £1.00 over.
