With the hairdressers I thought it was a tenner for an adult & a fiver for a child?
This is what I put down 4months ago & I have not heard.
If this is so that puts you just under.

    Thanks for all ur help
re axa they did say they don't think they'd allow me that I've got to send off my polisy details....I don't have to pay for prescriptons/dentist so won't be allowed to include it in, I actually took my gas and elec off bills from june, so I think I will have to increase with all the inceases and as it's going into winter.....
What will actually happen if I don't sign an IPA and they don't accept what I add,

Have you gone onto a prepayment meter? When you have to put the heating back on it will probably go up. How did you come to the figure you put down for gas and electric? It could make the difference if you didn't calculate it correctly. Everything else has been agreed so its worth checking this, you only need to have been 'wrong' by £10.

If you can't reach an agreement they can take it to court for a judge to decide (IPOrder) which may, or may not go in your favor.

They don't know that you know about the magic £99 figure for surplus. So I'd be inclined to add an OTT £50 for school dinners and £35 for Karate, if they let you keep them but reduce them to say £35 & £25 you'll still come in well under the threshold.

  • Just a thought, but when you submitted your I & E did you included child benefit?
The Or shouldn't take this into account in your incomings.

  • Normally O/R takes 50 - 70% off your surplus. If it is too small they won't take it as their fees would wipe it out!!

They would say you can pay your internet etc. out of your surplus.

If you can't then the O/R may include your Internet in your Bankruptcy if there are terminal charges for early disconnection etc.

Telephone CCCS or NDL for budget advice.
  • child benefit isn't included in my incomings she said that was seperate

Oh so I don't let on that I know about this £99 surplus then....
I'll re-write it all out and send it back with a covering letter and see what happens
It's my dad who's the most worried about me I was all for paying m £50 but he said there is just know way and you're going to be back to square 1 again....
  • Hi

I would also definitely put down £15 for hairdressing for the two of you. Also can you look/do you know how much you spent on gas and electricity for the whole of last year. If you do, divide that figure by 12 and add 30% as that is roughly how much more it will cost you this year. Using the month of June is going to be way too low.

    Good luck

    That is correct.

Did you average your bills the way Dorothy suggests?
