I don't - maintenance is for the day to day maintenance for the children which the parents provide - children will squander their money on items of luxury like cds, make up etc and not on essentials. That is why it is not allowed.0 -
Loopygirl has NEVER come across bitter and twisted about anything she has posted about. She is fair and consistent. If she is incorrect, she apologises. Nobody on here has posted anything which the OP shouldn't have read - it was perfectly fair advice. Iloveme, if you don't like Loopy's posts, just ignore them - personally I can't see anything wrong with them.0

eh? And to think that iloveme has just Thanked You for that ... me think someone is trolling here.:wave:0 -
CSA are only a collection agency so they cannot dictate to the ex partner on how the money is spent.
My ex claimed that the £5.00 a week he paid wasn't going on his son, too right it didn't it never covered anything,
I spent my own money on our son so the £5.00 would get swallowed up in bills.
I'm the one who paid for clothing, food, school trips, school uniforms, holidays, treats etc and i still do.
What does his father do.. oh yes still pubbing and clubbing and buying very expensive tv's to keep up with the JonesesLife is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?0 -
but when you are paying a large amount of money to someone who has "encouraged" their offspring to stay in further education so that they can avoid working and they have NEVER WORKED and they are 36 years old and claim "tax credits" yet driving round in a newish car and going on expensive hols etc it is clearly not going to maintain the child/young adult, she even intends to go down this route with her youngest 16 (with someone else) and bleed every penny out of him too! Child maintenance I don't think so, lazy, calculated yes! and the CSA says they have no income0
