:rotfl:I dont hord carrier bags but I do hord 'green' bags. Everytime I go shopping I seem to buy a 'green' bag. Now my mums boot is full of them :rotfl:

jinky, congrats on the new addition.

Now completely off subject, does anyone have an epilator? Are they painfull?

LOL I do that with the green bags too :rotfl:

I've not tried an epilator but a couple of my friends swear by the one with the ice bit in it.

Well I am bloody exhausted. We have done so much in the house this weekend, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted. We took about 6 bin bags of clothes to charity  and I've got a massive box of books to take next week too  The under-stairs cupboard is positively shiny and clutter free, I now have hooks in my bedroom for necklaces etc, and we have coat hooks in the entrance hall at long last... OH has de-weeded the flower beds and planted some shrubs and herbs and climbers and all sorts, it looks so much better... still more to do but we are getting there!

Having a roast dinner in a bit and watching CDWM on 4+1 and then I am doing Nothing At All until bed. Phew!

Elliot has his first settling in at nursery tomorrow. I won't leave him though, just see what he makes of it all. Nervous, scared, pleased, and shocked at where the time has gone

I've never been brave enough to try an epilator. Apparently once you get used to the pain they are ok though!

I've never epilated, and the most i've ever tried waxing was my eyebrows, and i left it to a professional..........

about to take erin to brownies now... might start cutting in the upper colour of bedroom for an hour....... or i might sit and read my book!!!

given ungrateful b*llocks earlier, i might just not bother and read my book........
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

  • I used to use an Epilator, but not to be too gross, I ended up with about 4 in growing hairs that left HUGE red marks on my legs, they really were disgusting and very painful.

It doesn't hurt after a while, but I didn't notice a huge difference between that and shaving - epilating left your red raw - I looked like a plucked chicken and my legs always feel much nicer after shaving. very nice infact.

and I have nasty scars now that meant I haven't worn a knee length skirt all summer.

The exact same thing happened to my best mate but the friend who has pretty much hairless legs (cow!) has ALWAYS used an eplilator is obssessive about it and has no ingrowing hairs at all.

I personally don't think they are worth the pain!
    Nevertheless she persisted.

oooooooooooh, the chappy from the gun club has emailed me back!

He said I can go along any Monday or Friday and try some aspects (air or gas guns) but I'll need a reference before I can use small bore rifles. Things have really changed - when I went before, you were just given a .33 pistol and a box of ammo!!

ooh, I've gone all 'nah, won't bother, too scared' now - I'm such a numpty!!
