Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

    AAAAAAggGGGGHHHHHH!!!!

We bought a new TV. And when I bought it the numpty I bought it from said I didn't need to get aerial put into the room, as it would work without :o I know, I am an idiot, but I have no idea about such things and I did tell OH but he obviously tuned me out at that point. So we have TV and no aerial...

OH decided he would do it. Over the weekend we have gone from a piece of cable running from one room to the other, to running the cable from the sky dish to the room - but having to buy a freesat box as well - to OH going out this morning and coming back with a f*****g digital DISH!!! total cost over £200. (And thats all he has admitted to! ).

He is currently putting it up. This is the man who wired the bedroom light fighting to live so it wouldn' t switch off! He has drilled a hole in the middle of the wall so far and I am so stressed about it.. I opened the fridge door and my wine fell out and broke on the floor so no wine:eek: .

DD3 has got Thomas tank on the TV so I can't watch normal TV and whenever I try to switch it off when she is out of the room she gets a strop on and makes me switch it back on........

Please - can I just come and paint someones house for them....

sounds like you are having fun... a year of sky would have cost less than £200 and they would have fit it free..
