We had gross 'Waltons style' grey tiles in the kitchen with random pictures of fruit bowls and jugs every so often Total 1970's fest!

Bought some cream tile paint and it worked really well, brightened up the kitchen beyond belief.

OMG I was undecided enough, without thinking about blimmin tile paint :eek:

Cant do that till after dog's op anyway, but it's definitely something to think about

We'll still be stuck with the floor tiles and work surfaces though, so I think I'll go with white units and pink walls

Oooh I didn't know you could buy tile paint! There was me thinking about retiling the bathroom!

It's pretty good stuff too! very hard wearing and washable!
Makes a HUGE difference!
You can even do the odd tile a different colour to the main ones as a feature!

I suggested to DH this morning that we could re-tile the kitchen. I wont tell you what his reply was, but it wasnt polite or positive :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm trying to find out what colours the paint comes in

I used tile paint in my old house donkeys years ago to cover up those 1970s 'vein' tiles - worked a treat.

afternoon all! Haven't i been good staying off here all day......

here are my efforts so far.... top half still to be done, unsure if it'll be today though... i think i'm all painted out!

I'm thinking magnolia up top and ceiling will need doing too.. pah!
