For anyone in Fermanagh/Tyrone.Roy Armstrong in Killadeas is hard to beat. We got a solid oak kitchen of him with birch worktop and Belfast sink for less than anyone else quoted us for their cheapest MDF (i think!) kitchen. No fancy showrooms, he just has his workshop outside Enniskillen but I had seen his kitchens in other people's houses and they are fantastic. Lovely country style and really good quality. We were on a tight budget and I had my heart set on one of his, he was the last to quote and was well below the others for all the things I wanted.

He goes under the name of Ballindullagh Barn if you google him.

Electronics Direct in Omagh were good value for appliances too although they are a bit offhand with the customer service I found. If you call them ask for Paula she was the most helpful and they will you a good quote for a package, they also deliver. They matched Sam's Yer Man's quote.

I built a house at the end of 2007 and got a kitchen installed by a local company (Craigavon area).

Last week I got the same company to give me a price for 3 new units 2 400mm and 1 500mm units. The 2 units are for the side of the cooker hood and have solid doors opening at the side. The 500mm unit has 2 compartments, one solid flip open from the top and one with a frosted glass flip open door.

Phone the company this morning to my shock the quote was £490:eek:

Does anyone know if there is anyone else who could give me a price and is willing to add to the existing kitchen?

Not as yet, I have had a look at their website which is good. Looking to move house soon, once I know what Tesco's kitchens are like, I will keep you updated.

Have you looked at Ikeas kitchens? Tesco have some really nice ones....though no reviews.Why dont you be the first an keep us updated

I would highly recommend Terry & Michelle of Woodhill Kitchens in drumaness. They have their showroom and workshop at their home - so no shop rates and expensive overheads and they are really lovely people and no pressurised selling techniques.

They fitted out my kitchen and pantry room and utility rooms (I've a large kitchen about 21' x 17' with a pantry room off it and a separate utility room) as well as the kitchen units, they made me up a dresser and also built a large overmantle with cupboards and oak shelf over my aga, as well as supplying the appliances - all for approx £7,500 (bargain compared to other quotes!!)

My kitchen receives massive of compliments - the work is finished to high standard - Terry leaves no mess - and any problems are sorted out with no hassle. I can't recommend him enough and I've told all my friends to make sure they get a quote from him because he is so reasonable!! I also got them to fit me a 14' run of wardrobes in my bedroom - for less than the price of one wardrobe in a furniture store.
