Bought my kitchen from Ikea in Scotland, used the delivery to Northern Ireland service. The kitchen worked out cheaper even with the cost of flights and delivery added on. However, you have to design the layout of your kitchen yourself, but you can download the programme from their website. Downside - customer service and delivery, wrong items delivered, items damaged etc.

Ikea is opening soon at Holywood Exchange - I think.
    Good-luck

I bought my kitchen 6 years ago from cottage Kitchen in Lurgan .
At the time there where about £100 dearer than B&Q for supply and fitting .But all the units where made to measure and not just standard off the shelf .

    Hi,
We recently bought a new kitchen from B&Q (Holywood Exchange, kitchen designer Brian Noble) and I couldn't be more impressed with the quality of the units, the customer service and the worktops. I haggled with the designer to get the price down and we got a solid wood kitchen for under 2500£. The kitchen is lovely and I am overjoyed. However! we had a local handyman who we knew well come to fit it, we didn't sign up to their fitting service. He told us he's pals with the fitting guys in B&Q and they are completely overstretched.
We also got a quote from MFI (near Bangor). They are pure evil. Their kitchen was over priced. Their staff were not very nice (they eyed us up and told us what they thought we could afford) and very very pushy. When I called up to cancel the kitchen we had provisionally booked they put me straight through to their sales manager who said he would slash the price of the kitchen I had agreed on before with them by over 1500£ (this was the price the saleswoman had told me she had begged her manager for) and they refused to let me cancel until I came down and spoke with them. I've also had friends who had their kitchens fitted by MFI over a year ago and they still have issues with them.
    Best of luck!

Oh yeah, what a great tactic... forcing you to come down to cancel is hardly warming you up to seal the deal. Do they really think they can talk you round after you have already signed up ? You should tell them you have already paid for another kitchen - wonder would they still insist.

I used to have a signature with links to the League Tables for good/bad shipping charges for Northern Ireland. But I have since learnt that this is against site rules - so they are no longer here! PM me if you need them

Yup, MFI weren't nice. I rang them back after discussing it with my husband (a very very short discussion) and the sales manager finally agreed to cancel the order (which was well within their customer charter period) and then hung up on me leaving me stuck in MFI telephone limbo.
B & Q designed a much better kitchen and got me a great deal on those pull and swing units. They even found a way to fit two of them under my sink area when MFI said it couldn't be done.
    Good Luck!

Anyone any recommendations on good quality cheap suppliers in NI? Thinking white units aka similar to MFIs space range.

    Any ideas?
