Heard their advert on local radio today-they say that they have the biggest showroom in N. Ireland.
Hope this helps!
Can remember a few years back my parents got a kitchen from Glenwood. It fell apart piece by piece. After umpteen complaints, my dad actually taped the manager promising this and that and then doing nothing. When the tape was played back to him over the phone, (I'll never forget this) the manager arrived at our house within 2 songs on the radion with a joiner in tow!!! Turns out a few years later, I got a part time job in my local golf club and guess who the captain was, yep, the manager of Glenwood.Small world!!0 -

Thanks for the laugh, I love to hear stories like that. We were very slow to complain in NI. But I think we are beginning to catch up due to programmes like Watchdog and this forum.
My motto is: don't put up with shoddy work, it's our hard earned cash they are wasting.

Now this is a rumour . I to am on the lookout for a good kitchen deal . A mate of mine has heard that there is going to be a 75% off sale on the 19th Dec for kitchens . I intend getting my design done and getting a parts list then sitting back and waiting till then . That said it might not happen and could just be rumour , however given the time of the year im sure its worth waiting to find out as there will be loads of sales about @ that time also .
Heres hoping for the big 75% off
cheers

Has any heard any more about this?? :rolleyes:0 -
I believe B & Q have had a tough trading year, they may decide to have a good clearout during the sale because if they've had difficulty shifting stock this year it won't shift any better next year when the designs are a year older.
If anyone is into DIY and doesn't mind last year's design, Homebase and Wickes kitchen units are sold at a fraction of the price at No Frills outlets. eg £129.99 base unit for £29.99 and that's not a typo.0 -
Dora, I know we have Homebase in Northern Ireland, but I've never heard of Wickes. Can anyone tell me where they are??

Have you tried B&D/Appliance 2000 - they are in Balloo Industrial Estate, I have heard good reports about them, one advantage is that you can get your kitchen and appliances from the same place and they are delivered and fitted at the same time.0
