Hi everyone, apologies as usual as I've been missing in action lately.

I was away at the weekend and had a great time, off again this weekend to hopefully watch Hull Fc thrash St Helens at Wembley.

    COME ON YOU 'ULLLLLLLLL.
    :D

School shoes and trainers are now bought courtesy of my eldest DD taking my youngest into town and getting them both sorted.:grinheart

I'll have a look at the flylady other group in a mo.

Johanne I don't know what to say other than at least the waiting is over. Sometimes I think the dread of what is going to happen is worse than when it does happen. At least you can take some practical action now sweetie, instead of waiting.
Stay with us all hun, we're your virtual friends, we'll do what we can to advise and support you........x

Right sorting to do, best get on and start decluttering. I feel a trip to the charity shop coming on.;)

    :wave:Hiya PP, I sawed you I did.:p:hello:

Well I've just eaten one of my flapjacks, and they are yummy. They're a bit crispier than usual as I used real butter with the spreadable butter, and I think they cooked quicker. Have adjusted my recipe for next time so that they don't catch at the edge.

I still have a headache after 2 cups of redbush tea, so I'm going to head off and do the tesco shop before my headache gets too bad to drive, otherwise we won't have what we need for dinner.

I may catch up with you all again when I get home, but to be honest, the likelihood is, is that I'll end up crashing out and having a sleep to try to get rid of the headache.

    Happy flying everyone!

    Johanne - hugs for you.
Dusty Kitten - love the kitchen, the cat and the tulips!

I have to confess to having no tulips at all at the moment. Lots of snowdrops, daffodils and spanish bluebells but otherwise very few bulbs seem to have survived the years of neglect and to date I have added lots of cyclamen and alliums. Lots of azaleas/rhodies so it isn't April/May colour that is an issue so my rather limited budget is going into late winter and late summer stuff. Thanks for the ideas.

I have been at work all day so now trying to do the rest of the DR and the Snug before the school home visit tomorrow. Might do a picture of the LR/PLayroom and scare myself into doing it.

  • Hi all, well had a good morning, then have been running around for everyone else and have come to a bit of a standstill, so gonna have a coffee, catch up on threads and get back on it.

Thanks Serena and Dustykitten, Dusty, well done on the kitchen, it's great when it's all nice and sparkly isn't it... :T

Guns&Banjos - you can't just say you have made a sponge micro pud and not let me know how you made it - instant pud in 10 mins? I know I could do with that loads of times - could you post the recipe please? (or PM me if wrong thread - know this is not the GC :D )

Right, so far I have done:

Tuesday Chuck!- Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level 3
Sort through a cupboard and fling everything that is dead
Wednesday Washdown- Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level Three
Wipe out a dirty cupboard... get rid of everything you no longer need and make it all pretty and tidy!Whoo Hooo, this is now done, loads of old carp thrown away and I need some new baking trays and utensils… Plus found old recipe for boiled cake - NumNumNum - guess what I'm about to cook!
    My Extras
Send off Hubbys Passport – did online, waiting for forms to be sent through - exp 17/9/08
    Do washing ([strike]1[/strike], [strike]2[/strike], [strike]3[/strike]...)
    HHG
Put handle back on hubbys beside table
    Collect freecycle stuff
    Change SO online
    Contact Job Lead

So have been quite productive and finished cleaning the cooker out, washed the tiles down in the kitchen and quick wiped the doors of any marks after cleaning them last week, BUT... this is what I need to do next...

    2805463865_fdcbe16ea6_m.jpg

It started as a small, neat, tidy pile in the spare room, and has been pulled upside down by hubby & DS looking for stuff (coz nothing in their wardrobes ... ) so first job, fold and sort I think... Ohhh, I can hear those golden mules on their way... (**runs scared off the computer to the ironing pile...** :o )

Kindlesgirl I'm glad you are enjoying flying

PP good luck on the shoes - in the end for DS2 I got him leather lonsadale trainers - black look like shoes for £15 and he said they were so comfy, they will do until after his appointment

Hex I think the trouble with tulips is they don't always last. I had loads fail only for them to appear 2 years later. I start mine off in pots - the black ones that perenials come in- gravel then compost then bulbs. Once they are up a fair way I put them into the gardn - sometimes I just dig a whole and start the pot in to be removed when they finished and sometimes I transplant - works for me.

Tired now so going to have a cuppa and upload my survey. I've noticed a new box to the write of the thread - has everybody got it - top deals from Martin.
