    Hi Folks,

ive not been on for over a week or so, have house guests just now, so, not getting much cleaning done, just the usual quick tidy up, and cleaning the kitchen.

Will start properly again next week.

Denisefowler – and that is the problem – what can we do about it? There are two sorts of parents – trouble is one sort want their little darlings out of sight – and do not ever wonder what they are up to.

Tag and Soappie – hope tonight is more peaceful for you both

Shell2001 – I have NEVER got my head round the ‘chips and cheese’ thing!:p

Congrats Auntie Rach :D– it is a pretty name!:T

So far this morning I have made my bed - 'encouraged' (he would say nagged:D) DS to make his bed and pegged out two loads of washing including (grrr) the sleeping bag washed and dried yesterday which got splashed with mud when the boys deceided to play football on my soggy back garden so needed to be washed again! Fortunately my large capacity load machine can cope with a sleeping bag:T .
All yesterdays ironing (13 Tag!) away.

Now I am going to try and do some planning and prep for work.

    Eventually;)

  • Morning lovely ladies.

I'm feeling great today. Rach biggest congratulations on becoming an auntie. It is great being an aunty, all the fun, no discipline, and my nephews think i am great cos i cook properly, and apparently they raved about my HM choc cake for a week when they ate tea at my house. I'm dreading them getting to secondary school age though, as they may end up being my pupils. And they are a bit cheeky. smear test - every 3 years if normal, i have to have them every 6 months at the moment, not that i am good at doing that as i have managed to fall pregnant x2 in this time and not managed for over a year. It is a big pain going this frequently but at least i know i am healthy and not worrying all the time about it. It was scary the one abnormal one though

I was up late last night, i really enjoyed my fish and chips, then i sorted the washing up out while DH talked to his parents on the phone. Then from no-where came a huge burst of motivation, not only did i measure the curtain for the hall, i thought, oh - might as well start it as DH went for a bath, then i just got on and did it while watching stuff i had taped, so it is now taken up and hung. It isn't perfect, but it looks good and will stop all drafts in their tracks. :T :money: Only 1 year late but never mind. Plus it was one of the things on DS1's new bed, so another step closer to getting him in that bed. (Remember DH gave me till the end of August to get the room sorted. :D )

This morning DH took DS1 to nursery for me, i have been to the PO to post an amazon sale, then got some top-up shopping including 1.5kg of organic carrots for 50p which is going to be turned into carrot and lentil soup so i can offer lunch to my visiting friend tomorrow and feed DS1 healthily. Then i went to the library and got out 4 books. I'm determined i am going to start enjoying my time off work and not look on everything as a big chore.

No real plans for the rest of the day. I have to peel some spuds as we have leftovers from saturday nights dinner party for dinner to serve with mash, and i will peel these carrots and get them in the SC i think overnight. The ironing is taking over again, the cats need a frontline treatment, that is pretty much it. If i flick a hoover round the house is looking super.

shell you are an angel sorting all that out for your mum, i know we would probably all do that if we were needed to, but i feel you need a pat on the back anyway for being kind.

lil-me have you actually used up any of the stuff you stockpiled from Wilkos last time? You were a bit of a secret squirrel. At least it was stuff for everyone and not just random spends like clothes for yourself as some would do.

Right, cuppa for me as DS2 is due to wake up for a feed, and despite me saying i was ending the BF yesterday i am having a good day today and changed my mind again. I think i will go for a bottle before bedtime and see how that goes, maybe one at lunchtime on tough days, as that is when DS1 is mostly tired and messing. I'll just take each day on its own and give myself a pat on the back for doing it for 16 weeks when most can't manage that.

    See you all later girls.

    Morning everyone,

    Congrats auntie Rach.
Jackie if i left my ones to play in the morning they would have the house pulled apart, they'd eat every biccy and bag of crisps there is aswell as leave a picture on the walls.

Plan today is vets and phone calls and hopefully new fridge should arrive.
Time for a cuppa and then i'll start the list hubby still in bed, he's gonna get a rude awakening.:rotfl:
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Just having a little break - washing the kitchen walls is exhausting and I've only done one corner!

Rach - I have a video I copied from a friend - it is 3 different 25 minute programmse so quite good. There are loads on ebay/charity shops I'll see if I can see a link to the one I've got later. I did do about 3 years of classes though and it does help to learn the basics from a good instructor (body control trained teachers are very good)

This is the one I have - it is really old now, I quite like how she describes the exercises. I'm sure any by her would be good but I like the short programmes as I am more likely to find the time

I know, it's scary just walking the streets now. This is why we hear such horrendous stories on the news. Surely someone up there is going to get some sense soon and realise what real people want instead of just listening to those who seem to shout loudest... Ooooh, off again, get back to work Denise :o :rotfl:

Sorry to see some of you have had rough nights, hope tonight is better!

Still packing here but can actually see where I've been now. Time for a cuppa and a biccy if anyone cares to join me, before I tackle the kitchen.
