I have a couple of old Canon Speedlite flashguns

A 119A Speedlite & a 420 EZ Speedlite

Does anyone know if either/neither/both of these flashguns work with the EOS 350D ?

I'm reluctant to just attach them and try just in case it breaks the camera !!

If anyone wants to call Canon concerning their cashback or free card, this is the number you need:

Don't use the 0870 number given on the leaflet, I was put on hold on it for 10 minutes, before being told to call the number for the promotions directly (the number above).

Anyway, apparently there's been a delay due to the christmas post.

Have just recieved the email re global shortage of 256mb cards. Should hopefully get the 512 card shortly. Still no news on the cashback though.

I also got email about 512Mb card .... you can check the deliverty status online at http://www.canon-cig-promotion.com by entering your email address and promotion code ... mine was posted on the 5th but still hasn't arrived ... not sure where it's coming from.

I also emailed the Cashback people to find out the status of my order ( via http://www.submissionstatus.com/contactus.aspx ) ... they replied a couple of days later saying that I was not on the system yet and to email them back in 10 days for an update.

I didn't ... as I said in my earlier post, I contacted them via the site http://www.submissionstatus.com/contactus.aspx

Click on the above and it'll take you to a page which has a customer service form .... fill in all the details ( name, address, product type etc ) and they should get back to you in a couple of days with a status.

In fact, once your claim is being processed, they you send you a unique claim code and you can check the status online via the same website

My email arrived at 1pm on Tuesday 10th Jan - says ...

"Delivery will take approximately four weeks, depending on the service of your local mail"

The 512Mb card came through my letterbox mid-morning Friday 13th !!

Got mine yesterday. Woohoo. And an apology for sending a 512mb card instead of a 256. Should hope so to Canon. I feel very upset that I have double the capacity now
