  • So sorry to hear your news Pingu. Our last cat had exactly the same problem..i know it isn't any consolation, but it is the best thing.

And congrats on your Dorothy Perkins card as well...onwards and upwards.

Right time for some numbers - I have 918.00 in my bank account and 900.00 due in and 80.00 in the house. That makes a total of 1898.00. Direct debits come to 1100.00 so have 798.00 for

    100.00 water
    100.00 gas
    130.00 elec
    109.00 council tax

    439.00 total.

which should leave about 350.00 for the food shopping and horse for the next 2 weeks - that is more than I will need so should have some left over at the end of the month to overpay MBNA - yeay! x x

Morning Penguin, just read your whole thread. You seem to be really organised and focused on the debt busting front. Watch out MBNA thats all I can say.

Thanks Lucielle - glad it looks organised, feeling a lot better than I did in August so we are getting there. Hopefully MBNA will be gone before the end of the year!

    How are the horses? x

The boys have had their tootsies done yesterday. Old boy is not eating hay, the vet is coming in November to take a tooth out but I am not hopeful this will prompt him to eat hay. Looks like lots of chaff then. How's yours?

My mare doesnt eat hay anymore - she now has a mixture of readigrass and mollichaff - I still put a haynet up as her stable looks bare without it and she does pick at it but gets the bulk from the hay replacer. She isnt enjoying this cold damp weather, she would live in 24/7 if I let her! x x

Morning all - have woken up feeling awful, full blown head cold so feeling a bit fuzzy today! Kids have taken full advantage and completely destroyed the living room - every single square inch is filled with toys!

Good news received a 10.00 voucher this morning from one of the survey sites and have sold a book on Amazon - slowly but surely.

Bad news - OH car broke down last night while picking me up from work, so he had to take the night off, big blow to the finances so will have to recalculate next week when we know better, he is at the gagrage now trying to get it sorted. So fingers crossed.

See you all later. x x
