  • Maz-I like the gradual tanning ones-Tescos has the Olay one on special right now-I also find that self-tan sorts my skin out if it's acitng all stupid! lol

Thanks for heads up re. Maybelline-will go and give it a go!

FreeME! Your skin sounds like IA's pretty much-same advice really!

    Maz-Nivea Q10 is good I think!

I'm not a huge fan of wipes for every day use Maz-to me they should be a once in a while fix-why not try a cleansing milk and just tissue off? The reason I don't like wipes is (Snaggles like analogy coming on!)
Imagine wearing your fav jeans and spilling something on them and just wiping ot off with a bot of kitchen roll, that's ok for the odd spot but not for a good clean-you would still put them in the washing machine to get them REALLY properly clean!

I have tried the L'oreal milk cleansers and they are quite nice!

I think it's a good idea Sammy but wonder if they're worried about the site getting the blame if anything goes wrong?

    it is annoying i agree.

but then people do share stuff here with people they "know" if they know someone wants/needs it.

i suppose if we were to start posting up our unwanted stuff then people we don't know, would come and just take stuff, for car booting or whatever.... similar to what happens in freecycle...........

Thing is I don't mind what happens to the stuff - most people I have given stuff to on freecycle have seemed quite genuine...I just need things gone, before I fall over the damn thing again! How do I find out if anyone wants a cross trainer ahem!

  • Oops! Sorry Sar! didn't see your reply!

Right, you're cleaning it regularly, but are you moisturising? It sounds like you have more of a normal-to oily skin (not REALLY oily as I know you!!!!) so using a good cleanse/tone/moisturise regime is quite important...

    1. use a nice gentle cleanser 2 times a day (tea tree is ok)
    2. use a toner after to remove any excess cleanser
    3. use a nice light day cream/lotion

Very important to do 2 times a day, do not sleep in makeup (can clog pores and lead to spread of spot making bacteria)

    Do not skip moisteriser!

DO NOT pop spots, or pick! It will lead to spreak of bacteria and more spots!

Clean pillow cases frequently, and same with things like phone so you're not spreading oil back onto face.

    Exfoilate 1-2 times a week-I love the No.7 one!

    Fank ooooooo :D
