    Good morning Sammy

I've been up nearly an hour now just pottering around and... I managed to clear off the top of the chest of drawers in the bedroom, tidy the dressing table drawers and make the bed (only need to declutter the top of the dressing table and have a seasonal / LB declutter of the wardrobes now but that's a job for next week when I'm off work).

The bin men aren't happy with me cos I'm throwing out so much crap.

Had a productive time looking at spreadsheets etc and I reckon that I'll be having about 41 weeks maternity leave (10 weeks on full pay - 2 holiday + 8 maternity leave, 16 weeks on half pay and 15 on statutory maternity pay), and we until I go to SMP we'll have enough money, when I go to SMP we'll probably need to dip into savings to buy food but the bills will still be covered!

Anyway, need to get showered, dressed and get to work.

    Have a good day everyone.

Have you looked at any entitlement to child tax credits. If you apply make sure you tell them about your SMP as some of your SMP should not be included as earnings. IYSWIM

  • Hi all

Well today could be the day that changes my life, hopefully for the better.

£50K in debt, applied for a DMP with CCCS, got all the paperwork and filed it it, been holding off posting it, a bit scared I suppose, but I've decided it's going in the post today or tommorow.

Will also be contacting co-op to open a basic account, cancelling direct debits from my old account, and generally trying to take care of it all.

    Wish me luck!

Just a quick hello from me this morning. I am going to get the accounts back to the "mardy" client today (just as long as the toner comes for my printer)and fill out my application for the new job.

I also have 2 days of flylady to do and have promised DS1 to take him to the Metro Centre to spend his birthday money, luckily he is taking a friend with him so we can split up:D

Lovely sunny day here, lets hope it lasts for the bank holiday weekend:rolleyes:

    Have a great day eveyone.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

another quick hello. I'm off to work in a minute but I was asked to go and buy a leaving present yesterday in work time. I was going to do it this morning but decided to do it straight from work yesterday which means I can go in later this morning ;)

Can't remember the last time I went into the shopping centre in town. It was horrible. Very busy and lots of mean looking 15 year old girls all sporting the same GHD-straightened hair and lots of eye liner look.

Thank God for shopping on t'internet I say!

Burlesque Babe you made me laugh with your description of the girlies in the shopping centre! I cant stand going into our local town centre for the same reasons! I was never like that as a child!
