  • Sammy,
    I'm not *quite* 40 yet, but I will be in a year and a half-I have come across the strange form of ageism before (and I really shouldnt complain) where people think I am younger than I am and are prejudice towards me becasue of it. I also think because for so many years, I worked in the cosmetics industry, I always wear 'full makeup' when I go for interviews and when it is a job in the 'metal' industry I guess they worry I will be too 'girlie'? Anyway, I am sooooo sick of *having* to be made up and being just so, frankly, id be glad NOT to have to wear makeup etc.

    It must make a nice change to not feel like you've got to make a huge effort just to go to work. ;) I'm the opposite.... it's a huge effort for me TO put make up on. lol

    Morning all ::hello:
    I'm too lazy to put make up on in the morning and then I see the girls putting it on on the train and think 'I could do that' but never do...:o

    Did HMRC tax credit calculator and we 'could' be entitled to £59.04 for the year. But that's on both full salaries - should i be working it out based on what I'll earn with SMP or with full salary:confused:
    26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%
    28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%

  • I have given away department stores of stuff away-I tend to use the same things everyday...

    But, yes, it will be nice not to HAVE to wear it!

    With SMP. Figure out how many weeks it'll be then take £100 off each week before adding up everything else. That's your income for the year for tc purposes.

    and if I tried to do my make up on the train I'd end up with eyeliner all over my forehead!

    Morning all.. slept in till 8.30 this morning :o Thank goodness for flexi time!

    Another one here with lots of make-up I hardly use. I'm a 'have to wear foundation' person but don't always bother with anything else, am currently having a phase of putting eyeshadow and mascara on for work but will probably get bored with that in about a week. I go through lipgloss by the ton though!
