I'll think you'll find that depending where your Aldi store is located it will accept credit cards. My local store (Glasgow) has just recently started accepting credit cards. I have used it a number of times now without problem.
In short you'll need to find out from your local store0 -
Guess pollap is right here. Since Lidl have started accepting credit cards, Aldi are slowly introducing them, too.
Most ALDI stores will still only accept the following debit cards:
Delta
Maestro (also foreign ones)
Solo
Switch
Electron
And that's the Gospel truth.
The St Etienne Belgian Lager is brewed in the Stella Brewery in Leuven/Louvain, Belgium. (Unlike UK Stella which is brewed in Luton.)
In my store, not a very busy one, it sells so well that they can't reorder it fast enough. It comes on a D pallet 5 ft high and is gone within 2-3 days. Extremely popular.0 -

I can vouch for Aldi's St Ettienne being a great lager.
I've said this before but it's as good as "Real" Belgian Stella Artois(tastes like freshly baked bread MMMmmmm), not the crap you get from Whitbreads, Brewed in the UK."You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Very interesting and useful article from the Independent:
"Where the gourmets went next:
We're all foodies now, obsessed with farmers' markets and fashionable delis. But the gastroscenti have moved on. They buy their Parmesan, prosecco and pastries from shops where the metropolitan middle-classes once feared to tread. Caroline Stacey casts prejudice aside to reveal the gourmet secrets lurking in the aisles of Lidl, Aldi and (whisper it) Netto..............."

From the above article, the reviewer went to Lidl. 'I shopped with a list of recommendations' - I wonder which website has a list of what to buy, and what not to buy??? :rotfl:Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0
