Well if there's no cork, and it's not a screw top, it must be a plastic cork. You just use a corkscrew as per normal cork - but they can sometimes be a bit harder to remove. Buy it in a box instead, cheaper and you get more :beer:skintstudentbabe wrote:just one ? tho. how do u open the bottles of wine tht dont hav a cork in them??????Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -

In the last week Netto was selling decnt wine for £1.99 and Lidl £2.29 come on discount stores.Veteran Bargain Hunter -
Best ever bargain: Rugby shirts (seconds) @ 20p0 -
Bought some frozen chicken fillets (Lidl) 500g box for 99p usually 1.99 but 1/2 price at the moment.
Havent tried them yet but that is very cheap.
The instant malt drink is lovely from Lidl (Instant horlicks).0 -
ALDI bread has hydrogenated vegetable oil in (trans fats).
Went for the first time today. Amongst other things, I got 1lb tub of strawberries for £1.19. Sains selling them for £1.69, and that is what they claim to be half price!
I'm sure Sains, Tesco and Somerfield are price fixing. How come they ALL do chicken kievs for £1.79 or 2 for £3?0 -

Chocolate gateaux are wonderful
Thanks for this, I'm addicted to Solero Exotic & look forward to being able to try out the Aldi version when a new Aldi store opens soon in Bexleyheath.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Just tried some Aldi Del Rivo Orange & Mango smoothies (99p for 1 litre), and it was delicious.
Having said that, it's worth noting that it's made from orange and apple concentrate, and is pasteurised (so has a very long shelf life). It's also very smooth (no bits). However, I'm now hooked!Stompa0 -

Golden Sun is a great bourbon that lidl sell. I drink it straight, it doesn't taste harsh like cheap blended whisky. I am a malt drinker & think golden sun makes a nice change, for about £7  http://www.ciao.co.uk/Golden_Sun_Straight_Old_Kentucky_Bourbon_Whiskey__5612473
If you need beer too (who doesn't
) try wernesgruner or brasserie from aldi. Don't buy the wernesgruner big 5l cans, it's much better out of the bottle. St. Ettienne is supposed to be a nice drink too (aldi).
If you need a mixer aldi's diet lemonade is really nice.desrever sthgir lla0 -

Went to get some more today, but it has gone up to £10.99. Will have to save up for a box next weekend.0 -
