Lidl curry sauces in a jar... OMG!!!:j
Tried Jalfrezi - good.Tried Korma - excellent!Loads of coconut pieces etc.,Then tried Tikka Masala - heaven!!!Coupled with Quorn fillets (which are half price in Tescos just now!) - a delicious and cheap curry!Mmmmmmmmmmm
Also the thick and creamy yoghurts in both Aldi and Lidl are lovely and only 69p each IIRC0 -

Agreed about the curry sauces! We also buy the Lidl fresh Turkey breast meat (500g for £2.29, it's far cheaper than the fresh chicken for some reason) and make enough Turkey curry for 4 meals, along with their tasty Basmati rice (comes in a 1kg box for approx 80p!). Lovely!I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -
Yesterday in Tesco my friend bought Stella lager, they were on offer 2 for £16 I told him to wait till we got to Lidl but no.
When we got there 2 for £14!Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)

Netto
Buy the Lemonade - tastes much nicer than Lidl's
Lidl
Don't ever buy the lemonade - its tasteless
Buy as the Chicken Burgers, Pot Noodles and Magnum style ice lollies (6 for 99p) they are lovely especially the nut version!!0 -
I buy jars of articoke hearts in oil at Aldi for only £!. They cost £2.48 in Tesco and they tasts just as nice
I also vote for Aldi tinned tomatoes. They cost the same price as the big supermarket basic brands, however taste nicer and have a lot less water in them.0 -

Need a pallet truck.
The shandy in Netto is made by the same place. Excellent for hot summer days (if we ever get any ) and BBQ's.
ALDI are selling Oyster and Nougat wafers 89p I think, so you can make your own ice creams. They taste great with the "GUT" vanilla ice cream from LIDL.This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!
