Haven't spent much today as bought loads of food into work and no time for lunch break! Parked far away to avoid paying any parking charges so was good there. Am going to attempt to do some surveys later too. Getting to £40 is so difficult on onepoll, takes forever!Debt to clear: feels endless...

Oh dear. traffic was bad so parked in the car park today. £8 gone!
but other than that i plan no more spending. Am really tired! Doing ok though, not using my overdraft much at all so should be able to get more into the plus after payday in two weeks time. she hopes...sigh. Fed up today, this whole not having any money thing is getting really old, really fast.

Hey, Just read through yours journal and it sounds like you're doing so well. Don't get disheartened! When I started being careful with my money I got so bloody frustrated, and I still do now! It sucks when you get hit by paying something (like for the car park) when you haven't expected it, but it wasn't your fault so don't let it get to you.
Good luck with your next 2 weeks!0 -
Thanks Cinny, its so flippin annoying that i can't be as i was 2 years ago, able to go out for meal with OH etc. very depressing as many other people i know seem to be ok money wise.Debt to clear: feels endless...

I know how you feel, me and my boyfriend used to do so much together, going out ect, but now we've tightened the purse strings if we do go out we seem to be doing the same things over and over. Normally an afternoon movie and a cheap meal for 2, at a push! Thankfully we're perfectly happy to curl up on the sofa and watch telly together. If I compair us to my sister and her boyfriend who are always going to the cinema, or going shopping it does get me down. But not for long cause then I remember they're both in debt, and aren't really helping themselves.
But once you've cleared your debts you'll have lots of extra pennies to spend treating yourselves, so I guess that's what you've got to look ahead too!0 -
Another day where i will spend money as i left my lunch at home, doh!! will get a sandwich for cheap. Am impressed that i am only just approaching the -£200 point in my account as pay day is in 1 week and 1 day. Hopefully i'll keep it at -£ 200 and not go over it!Debt to clear: feels endless...

I've been thinking i will aim to clear my overdraft on my personal account by Christmas. This way i can focus all my efforts in the new year on clearing the joint overdraft and my credit card. Am hoping to get all gifts on the cheap this year and will be speaking to some relatives about not buying for each other as i feel it would help us all out. Am thinking ahead and will begin my shopping after this payday.Debt to clear: feels endless...

Am so tired today! Got loads of housework done yesterday and OH is making a casserole and carving the leftover chicken for me before he goes to work. So we have meal plans in place for a couple of days. Him being on Lates and nights means he eats a bit less so food last longer
On the money front i'm not doing too badly. Still (only just) under 200 overdrawn (i was 500 o/d by this time last month!) so am hopeful that i'll be good until next week's payday. i seem to live for payday now, so sad!! But i'm getting nearer to clearing the debt (very slowly!)Debt to clear: feels endless...

Feeling v low today. Not feeling too well and am extremely poor! I get paid Weds but we are at our limit on the joint acct and i am over th 200 mark on my own account. I desperately wanted it to be better and feel like i've failed again. OH is going for a second job so hopefully he'll get that but i feel guilty that he'll be paying more and working harder than me. I feel like an all round failure!Debt to clear: feels endless...

Sounds like you need a big hug and chocolate!
You haven't failed, you're doing really well. Like you've pointed out you're (kind of) £300 better off this month than last month with you're overdraft. Is it this wednesday you get paid? It's only two days, keep your chin up!
When you get home tonight, run yourself a bath and try to forget about it for 10 minutes. You'll feel better for it.0
