Tinkabell's Fresh Start...Eek!!

I decided my thread was way too depressing, all whinging and moaning so decided to start afresh. Basically the situation is that i'm a bit of a plank! I've spent on unnecessary things (eg car parking and lunches) and have become chubby and in debt! So i am on a mission to lose a stone and gain about £3k. My debts are made up of one credit card and 2 overdrafts. Also we need to pay for our bed in January which is over 1k but we've saved a small amount for this already and are due to receive money for christmas towards it. If anyone has any ideas as to how i can make lots of extra cash despite being out of the house working from 7-6.30 monday to friday please suggest! I already do surveys and pigsback. I also collect for the jam jar challenge. I've tried finding a second job but i'm struggling to find one that fits in around my current one. All in all its a bit of a nightmare really. My OH and i are miserable and desperate to be able to go out again and start enjoying life. Sadly that is not the case at the moment and we are drifting apart at times, so please help. Tink xxx

Do free exercise - lots of walks, when you see a kids playground and there's no one watching jump on a swing (its good for abs and legs).:D
  • Haha, love it! My OH bought me a wii for my birthday with a wii fit so am getting into that...getting a bit competitive though...! Looking back i should have told him to take it back as the money would have been nice but he'd saved for it...so will use it! Like the idea of kids playground, am such a kid at heart!!! xx

  • Right have decided to document everything i spend on here so that it will hopefully deter me from spending! Have joined Murphys no more pies and am determined to stick to the healthier lifestyle..!I counted up my pot of change and i have £4.60 so i'm hoping that will build. Here's to another day of...healthyness and no spending!! I even parked the car extremly far away so i would get exercise as well as save on car parking. I'm not gonna be as pleased about that at 5pm...

  • Payday has arrived...however all the money's gone! am pretty much at zero already now i've transferred the money for the joint account and my bills. Its a no spend month pretty much! I feel gutted and miserbale. I got paid more than usual this month and it made no difference because of my stupid overdraft. If anyone has any idea for getting rid ogf the overdraft let me know. Off to compile a strict budget now. :(
