does anybody have a hug to spare please?
feeling incredibly low just now, was supposed to be looking forward to both sons going back to school, after an incredibly long school hols, well one is poorly, not his fault, am taking him to doctors in ten mins.
the other one cant go, because school transport, have only had six weeks to arrange a taxi for him, and as he has previously gone by taxi, it shouldn't have been impossible to arange another, well, how wrong can i be, could be next week or week after til it can be arranged

((((((((((((hug)))))))))))) hope you are feeling a bit better,it must have been dissapointing for you after looking forward to a break for so long. How did your son get on at the Doctors?hope it is nothing too serious. As to the taxi would have thought it would have been simple at the end of the school term for them to say school starts again on 2nd of september so could you resume service then? How hard is that?Anyway hope it does not take them to long to sort it out i would have thought a phone call would do it but then what do i know lol.0 -

Hi Frames:hello: Welcome to the thread, don't worry about being a miserable git there are lots of us on here:rotfl: but we do manage to smile and have a joke sometimes.I can see so much of myself in your post so never think you are alone in feeling like you do.I have always felt the sense of lonliness you feel and wonder if anything will ever fill it.Just wondered if you have had any councelling? A lot of posters have found it really helpful and i had my firat apointment last week,it went ok she just asked me lots of questions which i answered the best i could. She said i had lot of unresolved issues which sounded a bit like something from a book to me but then what do i know. She has passed me on to someone else and i am awaiting another apointment, figured it can't do any harm and who knows it may help. She did ask me what i wanted to get out of councelling and at the time i said i did not know but thinking about it i want the secret of happiness ,just to feel happy thats all,not to much to ask.Sorry this seems to have turned into a post about me not you, maybe because as i said i can see so much of myself in your post.Hopefully others will be along with some advice,if you have seen Tiffs roll call you will know there are lots of us on here some post most days some less often but please know you are among friends and very welcome.0

Who or what are the Ting Tings? Think I'm a bit out of touch here ...
Shaz, did you lose anything from the sheds?
Nice to hear some good news, Sazzy. Alas, my love life sucks, Mr Sunshine moved to a different flat yesterday. We may be able to sort things out with time ... I need to be patient, which I am SO not good at. And I hate being alone, I don't have a lot of friends or activities to distract me, so am alone at home most of the time.0 -
Hi guys!:hello:
How's us this morning peeps? I hope all is as well as it can be.My earlier post from yesterday disappeared -- so I reposted it this morning. I hope it didn't upset anyone.
And a very hearty welcome to both robin123(robin) and frames1uk(frames) - you'll have already had a warm greeting from the clan here I know. They're a lovely group of people. I hope that you'll both find some support and ideas that help.Well, I see my sazzy patrol and my badgie hunt paid off in dividends yesterday! It's really lovely to see you both back again.
I knew sazzy would never be able to pick the lock on the smartie cupboard without katie-tulip and that our gilly-badgie would be looking for somewhere warm to be ready for the winter!
It's very busy here at Tiff Towers. DS is in a state of terror - probably more due to the fact that he'll have to get himself up and do his own laundry as much as moving to London and starting his degree!Me? I'm just in a state! DS has been staying up really late recently playing new console games - he didn't get up til 5pm on Sunday!
WHAT?! You think I was going to wake him up just to end up with more laundry, cooking and washing up to do? My 'to do' list is long enough thank you very much. Clever Tiffy!
heh heh heh. I don't know how he does it - once I'm awake, I've got to get up. He's excited too though but he doesn't believe me when I tell him that there are many thousands of students who are feeling exactly the same way as he is feeling. As for me, I haven't really got time to feel anything! I'm indulging in my favourite hobby of list-making and sneaking in a catnap when no-one's looking. Never mind, DS is supposed to be cooking steaks for us tonight - I don't know whether to feel sorry for my pans or my stomach - I've told him I've got no life insurance though, so I don't think he'll try and bump me off.
I shall love you and leave you for now peeps. For those of us who are struggling and feel like it's one step forward and two steps back...hang in there. And if it's any comfort...
And you thought you were having a bad day!!!
Wishing everyone the best day they can have. Safe journeys guys.
Much Love,
