He may have had a bad week at school but that doesnt excuse taking it out on someone else.

This reasoning doesn't work on special needs children. They can find it hard to express that they are finding things difficult and it comes out as bad behaviour instead.

Please not things could have changed as it is a long time since I worked there and the state has certainly got a lot softer over the years.

They're softer than they used to be and yet my benefit has been stopped?
It may seem strange that your OH has to accompany you everywhere as it may look like you suffer more with say social anxiety than clinical depression.

I know I have depression and maybe a little social anxiety too, but its mainly depression. This is why I was able to go to a Take That concert last year and yet the summer before that I attended my beloved younger brother's wedding and had to leave before the ceremony started. I got so emotional and upset seeing my family together and seeing my baby brother all grown up and getting married was just too much. My husband and I had to leave the church and I still feel terrible about it now and will never tell my brother that I wasn't there. (We came back and mingled with the guests as they left the church and nobody knew)

I have been diagnosed by more than one doctor as having depression and have all the symptoms of depression.

morning all, hope everyone is ok this morning
still feeling low, been a long weekend with the kids, and today they have an inset day. also today they both have hospital appointments with pychiatrist, and both hate going there, and having their behaviour discussed, so not looking forward to that
on the positive side today, i am having an indian head massage, never had one before, but it should help relax me.
and tonight Ian is coming over to watch a film, and share a takeaway.
    hugs all

been a rough day, and i feel totally drained, josh was rude and bad mannered at the hospital and kicked off, this has made me feel low, and to top it all got a parking ticket, my own fault, parked where it said parking permits only, but the hospital car park is always so full, and we have to go there once a month.
been to see cpn this afternoon instead of going for the head massage, as the kids pychiatrist, thought it would be a good idea to see somebody myself today, as the kids are having such an effect on me again.
as a result, had my anti d's doubled again
    hugs all

Sorry to hear of your bad day, Shaz. My youngest daughter was special needs, although not too bad. So I can relate to what you're saying. Hope your anti-d's help and you can relax a bit more.
