I'm a bit alarmed by the 25p surcharge you mention - can't find it.

In fact, if the bolt-on tariffs are correct, it could be possible to combine methods and use an O2 SIM for between 500 and 800 minutes of international calls in 3 months for under £13.50

Sorry I missed out a word when I sent my post. I SHOULD have said''calls to MOBILE numbers carry a 25p surcharge''. I know this is true because I have used it. It is cheaper to ring a mobile from Virgin at 20p.

Sorry, I should have realised anyway what you meant - it's pretty obvious with 2 columns!

    Thanks Utility,

I'm just on the normal tariff, no special times or anything. I only use it for texting and very ocasional calls.

Unfortunately their are about 4 tariffs you could be on,which will effect the final cost of the call.If you have had the phone for a while its most likely on Talk and Save the one where you pay 25p a minute for the first 3 minutes to a landline, then 5p a minute thereafter, does this sound right.A call to 450 to clarify what tariff you are on might be best!As without the correct tariff i cant point you in right direction.
