Sinking Fast And Dont Know What To Do

  • Its me again .........

Thanks to all that showed me support last nite on this thread, the Night Owls and by PM. Never ceases to amaze me the number of people out there that really do care and take time out of their lifes and their problems to help others on their down days.

Better day today, got a lot of things done that I have been putting off and took a few more baby steps along the road. Think I just need to learn that patience is a virtue and that although the first steps are the hardest I need to keep my eyes peeled for potholes along the way.

Got some personal news today that I have been waiting a long long time for and although it has the potential to be a big weight off my shoulders I know it will not be straight forward. Nothing to do with the finances, just one of the emotional burdens I have been carrying for years - I will just need to wait and see what happens.

Anyway looking forward to a day out tomorrow with the wee one - found something fun, educational and unusual to do so hopefully it will turn out well.

The support on here is amazing & with Sue a regular on your thread I know you'll be fine - she is a bottomless well of support & encouragement & when you're ready we'll both get you off the weed ( nearly 10 wks now for me & wouldnt have done it without sue) :D .

Oh dear Lula, you'll be putting a halo on me soon for sure! :A:D Though with the smoking you had the determination.... I couldn't give you that for sure. You give yourself the credit you rightly deserve as you've been amazing! :T You and blackclouds both do your share of helping folk out wherever possible, you see it isn't just me. Having been through a lot ourselves I think it makes us far more compassionate to others who are enduring bad times. I just hope we help them!

Hi blackclouds. Another successful day then, one thing that has to be said for you is that you are really set on getting yourself back together again - very well done! You're so right with all you say in your 2nd paragraph, keep repeating it to yourself or write it out and pin it up in different areas to keep jogging your memory.

I was really delighted to read how pleased you are about all that the 3rd paragraph will lift from you, even if it does take time to accomplish it's so good to have things to look ahead to. One less burden to carry around each day, so make sure you delight in it!

Well done with all you've put into your day with your little treasure tomorrow (today!), he/she will enjoy it all and so will you and he/she will thank you for all that thought later in life. Once Monday's here, start planning next Saturday/Sunday all over again and help it bring a smile to your face and a glow in your heart!

    Enjoy yourselves blackclouds.

Not possible as the property is 1 bedroom

Had a look at entitled to website, it all seems so helpless as I dont really understand the benefits system I need to get to Citizens Advice and get help but slept in again as again I couldnt get to sleep last night, coffee, shower and then get to CAB is the plan right now

A friend turned her 1 bed flat into a 2 temporarily whilst studying (mature student), she turned her living room into another bedroom. Yeah ok, it'll mean being like a teenager again sitting in your bedroom but for her she did it for a year to pay her fees.

Just to point out I haven't got through your whole thread yet so if I've missed something that totally rules this out I'm sorry :o

Hi Unix cheers for popping onto the thread.

I have overnight contact with my daughter at weekends so the above is not a possibility at the moment. I am now completely at ease with the fact that my house will have to go. If I can sell it then its all good, if I end up unable to keep up the payments then its only bricks and mortar and I am not prepared to get upset any more over it. Feels like its time for a change anyway ;)

In other news, got an interview on Wednesday (technically a fourth interview for this job :j) so I must be doing something right.

Its Monday and I refuse to get on the Monday slippery slope to depression and aim for a positive WEEK rather than a positive day. Weekend with wee one was good fun and really realxing, I have had 3 nights good sleep in a row  so hope I can keep that up - I can see a bit more light at the top of the hole I am in at the moment still climbing out one rung at a time though ..........

    Hi Blackclouds

Sorry to not have poked my head in here for a while, I have been having a few stresses of my own to deal with:rolleyes: Things are slowly coming together and to get myself a proper website, I have resorted to bartering.

Just wanted to wish you luck for the interview and well done for finding £10 in your pocket. Well done on the ebay sales too - I hate ebay and have only sold a few items on there, I am finding that people want something for nothing these days which is why I haven't listed anything else - my designer suits are staying in my wardrobe because I will not sell them for 99p:eek:

    Remember - small steps.
