Was thinking about those people who want to work and aren't given the chance when people where I work abuse the system so much it winds me up...they're either on the internet or on the phone sorting out the private lives...I feel like chucking them out myself and getting someone in who would actually work.

if you can convey the urgency and determination that I'm sure you feel, it will shine through in interview...please stick with the numbers game on the applications.....if it helps, don't count the rejections...just keep plugging away at it. something that rings through for me is the phrase that people employ people -they will like you and if you don't get interviews too often, remember it's not personal....I lost track of the rejections I got because it really didn't matter - as long as I was trying....
For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 2007
  • :bdaycake: :coffee: Evening Black clouds, just wanted to pop on and wish you happy birthday.

keep going you sound like a great bloke. keep posting I want to know what happens next!

and if I wasn't so knackered that would sound a lot better.

hope you have a good day  xxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Definately going to start a diary in the morning seeing as I will be all grown up by then  and I am finding it hugely helpful to get things down and out of the dark clouds in my head ;)

  • Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday for tomorrow. I know it seems hopeless but things will get better. In the meantime stay close to friends and family (try not to shut them out as is always the temptation when your low) and don't ever be too proud to ask for help.

You sound like your on the right track, keep going and you will find a job!
