d.edna, you have upset many people on other threads over the last few weeks. Your classics include an arguement over leaking milk, calling the person looking for help a child - "You don't understand child", you proudly boasted, "Tesco will deal with it - but they won't be paying for it".

Then there was the incident where you accused a real child of breaking a bed. Oh how we laughed at that one - not!

Fellow MSE user nomoney was accused of talking total crap, as he correctly pointed out that Sky repair or replace their boxes for free.

But after reading this quote from you, regarding someone injured at Tesco - "I might not get along with most of the customer base at tesco, but I'd never wish anything like that upon one of them" - i realised that you do have a caring side, it just needs bringing out of you.

So i thought you may just need a little night time reading, to help move you along:-

I look forward to seeing the new improved and friendlier d.edna back here in due course :D

What can I say d.edna? Even when I point out the fact that you can't deal with measured argument, you persist with pointless gainsay - telling me to leave you alone and stop harrassing you does NOT constitute an argument and requires no intelligence. Are you getting this?

Whats going to happen when tesco and other retailers stop taking your coupons? Because it's going to happen.

That's easy, we'll all go back to shopping at the cheaper supermarkets like Aldi and lidl

You are more than likely meaning a £5 eukanuba coupon, the company is currently investigating why so many of an "internet" coupon have appeared on ebay and have been used. I have also read that they may consider reclaiming costs against sellers on ebay so I would avoid buying them.

Those that sell them say they were received in an email but its strange that this printable coupon thats supposedly widely available has never appeared on any of the printables threads.

I suspect the coupon has been altered as the identical coupon ran out october 2008 and within a week a "new" coupon exactly the same appeared on ebay with an new expiry date of 31st October 2009.

Just letting you guys know that on the magazines post, there was a post regarding £0.25 MOC but scanned £2.25.

Some might get lucky but some will have to make do with 25p MOC. Some SA will check the coupon, some just scanned thru. I will never use it on my T as I dont wish them to stop us using coupons.

I hope the seller get done for. That is just pure greed!

Like I said I suspect the coupon is dodgy, I have no proof but I know Eukanuba are investigating and yes, like the HD and BC, if they are fakes then the sellers deserve all they get

I had a stalker once Edna. It was the security guard at T's. Always thought I was up to no good. Anyway, one day as he was following me around the store I had just had enough. So I picked up a massive roast beef and made a dash for the exit. Chasing me he shouted out, "OI! what you doing with that".
I shouted back "peas, mash and gravy. You nosey old git!".

madmuppet5 it is such a joy to read your posts. Your warmth and good humour are much appreciated. I miss the friendly banter of the mixed thread - call me nostalgic. It is good to have you back and on top form.

If these are the eBay Item Numbers 280284669949, 280286461064 , 280284669949 with a suspected altered date then they could always be reported to eBay for investigation
  • I was absolutely shocked when I came across this (in my circle unknown) fact that Tesco would redeem coupons for stuff you didn't buy as long as they stock it (& I get that it's also up to store managers). I'm a newbie to the MSE forum pages, have been using the webpage for years but since my partner was made redundant, although I'm on a good salary, I've been thinking seriously hard about ways to save. Well I bloody-well found one that I'm not ashamed of trying at my local tesco's... the first attempt shall be made tomorrow I'm decending on them coupons in hand :p

btw the d.edna posts & replies made me laugh out loud :rotfl:
