    http://www.compeed.co.uk/bgdisplay.jhtml?itemname=cold_sore_product&s=5

on another note, went to tesco today, first time since new year. as soon as i went near the till area csa rushed over to inspect my coupons. felt like a criminal EVEN THOUGH they were all valid nicorette, pedigree, milkroll etc.

    Do they stock at Tesco?

    Thanks.

Compeed scans fine at T's (Or at least it did on Sunday) One point of note though is that it says one coupon per email address as part of the T&C's so even if it allows two when printing they may not honour the second one!
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

Point taken but I had already stated that they are stocked by T's (A couple of pages back now though!)

I disagree, a nss coupon scanning at Tesco does tell you the item is sold by Tesco, somewhere.

For instance a magazine coupons for an obscure mag stocked only in Extra in Scotland will scan in a Metro or Express in England (but they won't thank you for it as they can't get the money back from their newspaper wholesaler).

What a coupon scanning doesn't prove is that the coupon is in date, or indeed redeemable at all (e.g. Eukanuba, one from the Sainsburys magazine, or a Daily Mail one that specifically only states Sainsburys/Waitrose/Smiths/Independents). That is why some cashiers read each coupon really carefully in an attempt to weed out the wrong 'uns that still scan.

FWIW I think the Compeed moc is fine as it scans and it's in date and NSS.

Has anyone managed to confirm the rules lately. My store insists its still ONE coupon per day.

They even sit and read ALL the wording on an moc of 20p

18 months ago my local thought that as well, some stores misunderstand (deliberately or not) the ONE coupon part of the policy which we know means one of each. It hasn't changed.

It's an arduous task but you may be able to get this changed at store level. I did this by raising it by a 'Strictly Private & Confidential' letter - with info attached about the policy - directly FTAO the local Store Manager by name, who thought my coupons were fine even though his Deputy had recently told me my coupons were tantamount to coupon abuse!

If you fancy trying maybe read my post 1438 to save me typing it all again (on the previous page of this thread). Then print out the policy and approach the store for round one of your quest to get them onside. Only give up if the Store Manager says no (it may need a polite letter if you reach deadlock with the Duty Manager like I did - and you may still get a 'no' in the end but at least you will know the store have looked into it rather than everyone just believing whoever told them it was just one).

Forget Dundee, they don't know the policy anyway as they didn't issue it or get copied into the store updates...and we don't want to be raising the profile of the coupon policy as one of Dundee's highest volume email or telephone 'reasons for customers' queries', do we?

For instance in my local where I am known, they don't allow internet prints - and they know that I know this - so I would never even sneak one in a pile of mocs.

Hi, I would also be interested to know where you get your coupons as I have been sent in the post 2 coupons 1 Glayva and 1 London banger both of which Tesco refuse. Thanks
    Hi Judy2357,

We are sorry to hear you are having a problem with the London Banger coupons. I work with London Banger and as far as we are aware there are no issues, so we are in discussion with Tesco to investigate why they are not being accepted.

Don't forget the London Banger is sold in Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Somerfield too...see http://londonbanger.com/stockist_search.php for stockists.

Please hold onto your coupons, if you would like another, please let me know.

    Kind regards,

    Emma

Has anyone tried to use the Bodyform coupon recently, I tried to use this one today and the assistant noticed it says it expires 30.11.09 in one place and 30.11.08 in another. I hadnt noticed this myself and have used several since Nov 08, does anyone know the correct expiry date.
I noticed this months ago and pm'ed R4ture a few times and flagged it on this site and the NO CHAT site as I did not know what else to do as a newbie but i eventually pm'd Browntoa just as R4ture sorted it out - he had had internet problems but then I noticed that it was still on PTS site but had seen from other comments here that they do not like to be told they are doing something wrong so left them to find out for themselves rather than get banned from PTS .
I just wanted to save people from the embarressment of being told off in the supermarket as this has been altered as I had used the original which was definitely 30.11.08 from R4ptures site but then the one with the conflicting dates replaced it and I cannot think how it could have been altered and I am sure R4pture would do nothing knowingly wrong when he replaced the new coupon with the old one - but we all make mistakes :A even me

  • I was duped today by coming across a "phishing" site. A site which is fake but just collects email address to send Spam and Viruses:eek: to. This website was "Potage Du Monde" is appararently well known to the "coupon old timers". I think of myself as quite internet savvy but I was taken in. Can anyone tell me how you tell a site is "fake" and just there to collect email addresses? Would it be an idea to produce of blacklist of any known "phishing" sites so no one else falls into the same trap?
