    Wow, respect! :T :T :rotfl:

Vicky, how did you get that number plate, with the bit at the bottom saying 'every little free car helps' - is it really your number plate?!

Just a suggestion everyone, but as the No Chat thread is more often that not, out of date and more of us read this one, why don't we just report printable mocs on this thread instead? At least our posts will hopefully not be deleted and those of us who are keen coupon-users read these pages every day anyway.

And most of us NEVER wanted the thread split into 2 anyway but were ignored...!!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

As the car was free with points I splashed out and bought the plate for £250 from the DVLA, I local friendly numberplate shop made up the plates for me with the Tesco logo they downloaded from the Tesco website. Although the Tesco logo has faded a lot since the plates were made much earlier in the year, it used to be really bright red!

Still gets a laugh from Tesco staff.

  • Vicky I love your number plate :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: a real 2 fingers to tescos lol!

Coupon mad - although I am a relative newbie to couponing and have only ever found 1 coupon to post about, I think it is a good idea for them to be posted on here - I have seen a few coupons that have been posted on the "No Chat" thread and the next minute they seem to disappear  Also sometimes you post something on the No Chat thread that is related to a coupon and you are constantly in fear (well you know what I mean!) of being told off for posting "Chat"

Are you referring to the Twinnings coupon as I have managed to use several of these in Tesco (obviously only one per shop) with no probs. Does anyone know of any reason why these cant be used?

Yes well I think the majority wanted the thread kept as it was but whoever made the decisions split it! (I did ask for a poll but that request was ignored) If we went back to one thread it would also make it harder for the casual readers to take some of the links/info (I know some like it handed on a plate so use the email alerts which is why they wanted the NO CHAT thread) but these days why not make it harder for casual browsers and other sites to 'steal' 'our' hard work .....Above all one thread (With page 1 regularly updated [R4pture where are you!!]) will remove all this bickering about posts being removed because they are in the wrong thread, and above all any ambiguity about where to post!!! ;)
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

I agree, I thought there was going to be a poll but it never materialised. I am fed up with being frightened to post on the no chat thread. So perhaps we need a poll on this one. Anyone know how?
“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”:D
  • HI, just heard today that my local is to start accepting Mocs after xmas again without buying the product . which is a god send every little helps trouble is what I have is almost out of date. Any clues anyone as to where I can find fresh ones? Merry Christams and Happy New Year all
  • There has been some mention on here recently that the Mitchum coupons weren't being accepted at Tesco's. I have just used one of the Mitchum £1 MOC no problems, but now they won't accept the Twinings one...........

Win some lose some I guess:D

And I was told I could only pay for 10% of my shopping by coupons. So total was £31 and cashier takes £5.90 of coupons off????

    Hi All!

There actually WAS a poll - I know because I started it! LOL!

    Here is the link: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1125873

As you can see, the majority (66%) voted for a single (chatty) thread. But in the end, it's the mods who make the decisions - and the results were sadly ignored.

Maybe if some people who didn't vote first time round could vote now we could raise awareness again and try to change the printable coupon thread back to the way it used to be? It's worth a try.

    Happy Christmas everyone!
