I started to realise things were bad around feb this year but did not tell OH till I think end of March. Contacted CCCS around May and made token payments till August then CCCS took over. To be honest though this is the first month we have found it hard although OH says it feels good to pay for things with our money rather than credit. I really wish we had sorted this out a long time ago as last summer I am sure our CC debt was about 16k now it is 39k and i truly beleive a large chunk of that xtra is interest but I never understood how interest on CCs worked, I do now. But we can and will manage.February 2013 NSD - 40

Not done much today at all. Taking kids swimming soon (already paid for). OH MBNA statement came through today it's great to see the balance decrease all be it only by £38 but thats the first time in a long time the balance has went down. Nothing else to report on the DMP front.
I as going to have a NSD but my mobile needs topped up (don't like taking the kids out without having money in my phone) but as this is technically a bill will it count? Have not decided.
Not going to worry about the lloyds/hbos merger if i need to change accounts i will deal with that when i need to.February 2013 NSD - 40 -
Hi LFTS,
I think if its on your budget then you can let it go. Dont be too harsh on yourself.
Good News! The Police Notice outstanding against the lorry I drive was for the Agenct driver while I was off....woohoo! Thought I was up for £120 fine.
But, obviously, I never break the law:D:D stay wonky

Pepe2008 good news on the Police Notice.
Your right not going to count the topup as a spend. Have put a washing on tonight. Really need to start sorting out the housework some days I am sooo lazy. The house is a tip I just can not keep up with it all.February 2013 NSD - 40 -
Letter done to lloyds re CCA at last. The kick up the bum I needed was a default letter from lloyds also threatning court action and charging us their costs. Yeah right would like to see them try they entered into default at the ned of August for failure to provide my CCA so techinically my account is in dispute. They have 7 days from receipt of this letter to respond. Looking forward to their responce.February 2013 NSD - 40

Well done getting the Lloyds CCA Done.
I really must get on to requesting a few, but I'm a bit of a chicken as all my Creditors are behaving themselves except for Goldfish charging 5% and 1st Credit ( although they went quiet after I started fighting for my rights ).
I'm following a thread on 1st and it seems that CCA reqs are like kicking a rottweiler in the n*ts, also Goldfish seem to use them as their DCA so having 2nd thoughts about stirring them uptoo much....yet.
Joined the DFW Walking Club, the suns out so get out there lfts, and the kids, and the OH!!!
Have a god w/end.:D stay wonky

I too have not wanted to go down the CCA route as most of my creditors have been fine and I do not wish to rock the boat. Lloyds have been a bit difficult but as the original credit card I had was an easymoney that I am sure was taken out 6 years ago I do not know if lloyds will have a CCA as they were not the origianl creditor but will just wait and see. I have no intention of not paying this debt but want to have some amo if need be if they take it further.
As for the walking club well walkings not my forte but I have started walking abit more than i used to but thats cause I am too tight to put petrol in the car.
Letter posted this afternoon first class recorded.February 2013 NSD - 40 -
Thursday - Sausage Mash and Breaded Chicken and Mash
Friday - Sausage Rolls Chips and Beans
Saturday - Fish Chips Beans Breaded Chicken Had Tosties and Chippy Chips.
Sunday - Chicken Hotpot
Monday - Hamburger Chips and Toasties
Tuesday - Chicken Dippers Rice and Baked Totties.
Was out this morning and spent a bit of money and was too lazy to make dinner so OH went to chippy for chips and i stuck toasties. I am an utter nightmare at time but in honest had hardly any sleep last night always to tend to find my spend days are usually down to me being to tired to do anything and will take the easy way out. No housework has been done either but not intending to go out tomorrow so going to catch up with lots of housework - well thats the plan.February 2013 NSD - 40
