Well said PN, I have always found that the higher up the ladder I get the less I do.
Saying that I would love to lick some of the 4rse's of the girls that work in HR.:rotfl:0 -

Please provide a URL to that and I'll be happy to withdraw that slur and also happy to apologise for using that term as an inappropriate insult.
I'd apologise unreservedly now but since I genuinely have no recollection of saying that, you'll appreciate I'd like the URL to the post in question.
Oh you DID call me a retard, !!!!!!.
Go ahead and post the URL and I'll be happy to proffer an abject apology then.I will post the thread (when I have enough time to traipse through your thousands of posts).............the only reason you can't remember exactly when you called me a RETARD is you post day and night EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!:o The only time you DON'T post is when you're asleep!
But that's because you're stuck in your hovel (out of work) with nothing better to do.
Even if properties dropped 90% you'd STILL not be able to buy! You're just a LOSER - and always will be.
You fill your bitter lonely days by trying to drag people down to your level. Just because you're unemployable and living on Benefits (in Liverpool) you shouldn't take your frustration out on others!
You know full well you'll NEVER be a homeowner - so accept the fact and stop trying to make everyone as unhappy with your miserable lot as you clearly are.
YOU ARE A TROLL - and the intelligent members know that! They also know you use various usernames on this forum.............
You are one sad case!
Go and get a job and a life!--
Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.0 -

Getting back to the orginal post
"John Merrill, chief investment officer at Tanglewood Wealth Management, said investors were realising that the crisis in the financial sector was unlikely to abate any time soon.
"The degree and depth of what's happening in the financial industry is beyond anything we've seen in decades and it takes time to get your arms around the severity of what's happening and what the long-term and short-term ramifications are," he said. "
Both these articles show that we are a long way from the financial markets getting back to normal - so a long way from seeing any rise in house prices. So the recovery in the housing market will not come quickly.Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.0 -
Just checked in on this thread this morning, very saddened to see the way what was a sensible and interesting discussion has gone.
The only thing I can conclude really is that those that wish to agree with the mortgage bosses comments clearly are both desperate for him to be right (for whatever reason) yet lack any coherent argument to support their opinion (judging by the way they've resorted to trying to undermine anyone who disagrees with them with personal slurs rather than rational debate).
Strange way to behave.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

I usually agree with PN or at least understand her arguments, but not totally this time. In fact there ARE people who get their jobs because of who they know but there are others who get there on their own graft, and they usually progress more rapidly because once you are in a job what you can do becomes all important.
In fact who you know and are related to can also be a hiderance in getting work0 -

Totally agree. This is happening on more and more threads. It seems to only be a select few. They seem to target !!!!!!? and desperately try to derail the conversation by causing arguments and confusion. I suspect they're probably the same person (obviously with a heavy vested interest) and then accuse other users of having multiple usernames to try and confuse things further. The moderators really should try and put a stop to it because it prevents any sensible conversation, which is exactly what these people / person is trying to do. What they won't do though is prevent house prices from falling so the last laugh is on them really.0
