Happy sunday !!!!

Well ive got a relaxing week now!!! paid my £1 to egg today, i have no jobs to do as worked my bum off the last few days and i get paid on friday woo hoo..... my new mission is to sort out my energy usage as got up today and looked at the things on standby and thought grrr so thats my plan, might not be around the next few days a my friend is coming to stay but will pop in where i can and will still try to make my payment a day

Morning caddy the only thing i can pick at on your soa is the buildingand contents we pay 27 quid for both through nationwide ..... so maybe you can lower yours ?? good luck on your dfw journey it can be hard t times but keep at it... i was doing the payment a day but i have a wedding to save for so my payment a day is to that hehe ..... have a nice day xx

Right!!!!

Grrr how stressed am i???? havnt been on for a few days my friend came down and ive been a bit busy.... heres what has been going on...

*got paid friday and my pay was only £580 !!!!! i have been sick for a few weeks and didnt realise the sh*tty company i work for dont pay sick pay till you have been there 6 months (which i will have on 3rd sept!!!) so that screwed up our bills!!
*my payment a day is all over the place with not having any money and i feel myself loosing motivation so ive changed it to pay off the £118 avon so i can get rid quickly and have the happyness of paying off something rather than struggle with egg to clear a HUGE balance i will move onto that one next i just feel i need to start a bit smaller now things are tight again.
*i still havnt heard about that job there is still time but i feel its not mine so im gutted.
*made a start on xmas and have got loads of little bits in and i know what im getting people too so that should help massivly.
*my meal planner is doing well and im gonna start my shopping list of next month soon.
*im collecting vouchers points and everything i can get my hands on at the min just to help with xmas and my mam and brothers birthday in november.
* ooooohh in the £ shop i bought a huge tin that you can only open with a tin opener to keep my silver as my jam jar was a bit small so ive transferred my silver into that and i even put a 50p in it too hoping to save loads in it!!! it will hold £500 in £1 coins so hoping to getr £200 in silver in it!!


Phew that was a lot.... ive made a start in AUG and its the 1st sept tomorrow so im gonna start again then and make my payment a day to avon to get rid of that instead of egg ....... wish me luck!!!

Right first of the month here we go!!!

* paid £20 to avon this morning - now owe £98
* taking the car for MOT this afternoon (please please pass)
* then get Tax done (grrrr rip of)
* made my xmas lists of who is getting what and how much
* Sausage cassorole in the slow cooker for tea (yummy)
* going to buy a new note book in town as mine is full and i cant find one in the house ANYWHERE!!!!
* added more silver to my sealed pot (or pound shop harry potter tin lol)

I feel a lot better today i paid some £££ off avon and am still gonna stick to my challenges i just want to get rid of a debt so i can get them down then will focus on the bigger ones.

I AM NOT GONNA HAVE A CRAPPY YEAR WITH MONEY NEXT YEAR 2009 HAS TO BE BETTER THAN 2008 SO GONNA START TO MAKE THINGS HAPPEN SO NEXT YEAR IS A GOOD ONE!!!!

just a quick update the car FAILED its MOT and is gonna cost £440 then £60 tax and that has just ruined all my plans it feels like everytime we take a step forward we take 4 steps back and we are just constantly trying to keep our heads above water and keep getting closer and closer to sinking but i will not give up there has to be a way to get back on top and i still havnt heard from that job either ........ having such a bad time im just hoping things are just worse before they get better or i dont know how much more we can take.

Hi again

Well just got an email saying i didnt get the job id applied for im really gutted but hey ce la vie i supose, rang the garage and getting the car fixed in total it will cost us £506 which were gonn have to put on a card as we dont have that sort of money lying around so im now more in debt than ever we got a natwest card in BF's name as the loan is in my name and we managed to get 0% for 6 months but hopefully when we get this money through its gonna pay it off.

Ive been concentrationg on just my debt on here as when me n bf get this money through (about 3 grand) it is gonna pay off our joint debt so this is EVERYTHING we have and the great plan to get rid....

JOINT DEBT
*HSBC loan - £1300
*Natwest OD - £500
*Natwest card - £506
*Halifax loan - £7485

MY DEBT
*Egg - 704.77
*Orange - £30
*Avon - £98
*HALIFAX OD - £600

Right the joint debt we are going to pay when this money comes through so that will hopefully clear everything bar the halifax loan but until the money comes through its a bl**dy nightmare paying it all and trying to keep our heady above water for now. My debt is a case of the orange debt is neary gone (you can tell im so poor i cant even pay £30 to finish it off) and my Avon is coming down i was doing payment a day but with all the stuff we have to pay is just too much to do that so im gonna pay a little when i can and hopefully they will both be gone by xmas......

So by Jan 2009 the debt should be....

Joint debt
*Halifax loan - Gonna try and make over payments next year
My debt
*Egg - is gonna become my payment a day challeng to clear it
*Halifax OD - dont have a plan for that yet but im sure it will come

Oh my god i never really belived people when they said they had a LB moment id just really decided that we didnt have enought money but adding all the debt up there ive just realised no matter how i dres it up as joint debt or my debt or it will get paid here when or where ever....

God i feel sick i never realised it was that much we were just temporary borring to pay bits and bobs and saying its gonna get paid when the money comes through WOW!!!!!

Ok a well and truely belated light bulb moment!!!!!! :eek:

God i just wanna give up no matter what i do how hard i try there is always something!!!! ive just got back from the hosp for my hearing test and they have said ive got significant hearing loss in my left ear and ill need a hearing aid I HATE HOSPITALS at the beginning of the year i had several allergic reactions which put me in hospital every time and i was a mess while they sorted my medication out then i aug only a few weeks ago i had a miscarrage now this. Im so much more fourtunate than some people and it can always be worse but i feel so defeted ll the time im constantly picking myself up off the ground and everytime i think things are ok something else happens. I work in a call centre and the doctor basically told me that wearing a headset was not a good idea as im straining my right ear and could cause further problems and i should look for a change of job, im not qualified for anything ive worked in call centres since i was 18. Work are so crap anyhow they are a little company and i have no benifits like health care and because i have only worked there for 6 months i dont get good sick pay, me and my partner are only 23 so were both on such a low wage and cant get tax credits and dont get any benifits i cant afford not to work or we will loose the house but im sure where i work wont let me keep my job if i cant wear a headset, im worried they will sack me or force me to leave, i just dont see a way out at all.

cady--for what its worth---i said i was thinking of reducing my costs--and possibly hav to cancel sky for now.if they could help-with any special deals.while still in contract --they changed my monthly from £55 to £25 same package.did it 5 weeks ago

worth a phonecall---they can only say no
