MrsP - I am trying to control my spending habits - I haven't spent anything today:j I have done a load of washing which is pegged out on the line, I have used my landline to make phone calls to other landlines because I get free weekend calls with my cable package.
If the clock was a necessity then £50 is not a lot to spend. I need to list stuff on ebay but I dont want the stuff to sell for 99p:rolleyes:
I think we are due to have this lovely sunshine until Friday when I did see that it was going to rain for most parts except London and the East:rolleyes:0 -

Hi Strumps
Been round your neck of the woods at the weekend. Had a lovely meal in Clitheroe. Spent 1 day at the Pleasure Beach with the ankle biters.

Went shopping for necessities today and spent £29.30 in Tesco. I used some money off vouchers too which is why I ended up buying fresh chicken fillets when I would normally go to the butcher. Changed my dinner plans too as I bought a huge joint of beef (brisket) for £3.95 - I saved a £1 so now its boiled beef n carrots for tea (I have enough to make about 6 meals:j). Also acquired 1lb of tomatoes on the vine too because they were supposed to have been taken off sale because they were not on the computer so they couldnt be priced - I used my puppy dog starving face on and explained to the cashier that all the other tomatoes were green and my recipe called for red tomatoes so he let me have them for free:j0

Just wandering where Strumps is? I bet he is sunning himself somewhere:rolleyes:0

Hei!
Serial reader here (as is evidenced by my post counts...), just thought I would say Thank You, kind sir - and Horace and MrsP - for providing me with a good read these past days. The fact that this has put off University revision is by the by..
Anyway, Strumpet may I say that you are somewhat of an inspiration for showing that you can tackle your debts *and still have a life*. (living by candlelight is not my style )

Taru
p.s. I make awesome cinnamon buns and applecake if you are running short on Tea supplies0 -
Tarun....get back to your revision. I might give you the same advice that I gave to Strumps the other day, if you are a morning person do your study then rather than waiting until you get home from work. Trouble is, you're a student and students are renowned for lazing in bed until at least 10am:eek: (I know all about students, I worked in a University for 12 years:eek:), so that advice might not work with you:rolleyes:.
Careful...don't drop crumbs on the floor, Strumps will go mad if we make a mess in his living room.0 -
Taru those cinnamon buns sound fab - any chance of the recipe?Debt free and Keeping on Track0

Hopefully Tarun will return - I quite fancy making some apple cake and need a decent recipe:D
I am aiming for another NSD today - Strumps needs to get a shift on because I am beating him in the NSD stakes:rotfl: Have been busy writing up an advert and some spiel to go into a wedding planner feature - still have my bloomin' assignments to finish too. Two piles of washing done today - one lot on the line (the other still being washed), towels, towels and yet more towels:rolleyes:0
