Sounds a lovely date Strumpet
Especially getting the top down, lovely! I tried to persuade Popeye to eat in the garden at lunchtime but he wasn't having anything to do with sitting out in the cold(he's just back from Africa :rotfl: )

I cannot abide chinese food - anyway it has too much MSG in it:eek:
I was supposed to do a mystery shop today and it is the first time that I have cried off, I just couldnt face a huge lunch and I felt a bit gippy. Mind you that didnt stop me from having lunch when I was out to the tune of £6.80:eek: I nipped into Starbucks in Selfridges (less crowded than the one on New Street plus it has nicer sandwiches). I had a medium caramel macchiato, a small lemon cupcake and an egg and cress sandwich.:D If I can find where I put the receipt then I could put it down as a business expense:rotfl:
Glad the date went well though Strumps but you need to learn to leave your wallet at home, personally, I wouldn't have left a gratuity for a salty lasagne:rolleyes:
I need to start making money and lots of it, my test trading comes to an end at the end of the month and I am going to ditch the dole and live on WTC which is less than dole money at £48 a week:eek: I need clients and I wish the one with business link would stop @rsing about about make a bloomin' commitment.:rolleyes:0 -

I won't be on here long - at 10pm I will be watching Greys Anatomy on Living and I have to go and tend my empire in facebook and bid on sailing for the cartel that I am in to corner the market in it. I am feeling pretty peeved as one chap (I adore his cowboy hat) from Manitoba kindly said that he would give me one of his rares Draculas Castle so that I could auction it off - apparently he is peeved that my empire is always in the red:rolleyes: Well, some thieving scripter pinched it just as he released it for me to buy:mad:
You never know you might even get a call:D
Dinner tonight was the same as last night - savoury mince (homemade) and the out of date cheese mash from tesco:D Am off out to lunch with a chum tomorrow - we tell each other everything, even stuff we wont tell our other friends.
Love Horace x0 -
Well the desk I was trying to sell on ebay, finally attracted a bid last night so that is going for £9.99 which is vastly less than we hoped but better than nothing and it will free up loads of room at home so no matter.
Invoiced my frind last night for £67.50 and paid my expenses from work so another £155.25 coming may way on Monday making £222.75 which will go straight off the credit card!
Going to a 50th birthday party tonight so will spend a little this evening but colleague has brought a barbecued chicken from ASDA for lunch so we are sharing that! Might go to the bakery and buy a couple of barm cakes to go with it.

Kept away from MSE all day because I thought it would be closed:rolleyes:
Spent £2 in the pub buying drinks at lunchtime - bloomin' expensive it is for a bottle of pepsi and a lemonade & lime:rolleyes: Lunch was bought by my mate:j
Hope you have a fabby time at the 50th tonight:D0 -
:hello: Hi Strumpet,
Just thought id drop by and see how you are? How was the weekend?

Weekend was fine Ang thanks - hope yours was too. Hope you're finally getting back on track.
Well, I have rather overspent this weekend, but the car needed filling up and I had that 50th to go to although I only spent £11.70 by drinking very slowly!!!!
Saturday, I spent £12.50 as my contribution to Dad's retirement prezzie and £42 on diesel.
Yesterday I spent £7.60 on rubbish including a peal fee for ringing at Halifax of £5 and we didn't even score the peal!!!
Hope to do better today but still no elusive NSD.
However, there is £39.99 coming in from Ebay sales, £67.50 from my little book keeping job for my organist friend, and money for singing 4 masses over Easter so I'm not too woriied for April. Should make significant inroads into clearing some of my debt this month.
