Sorry to hear that your nicknacks were affected, somehow as you have sooper dooper deluxe ones now that I don't think it will come back. Pity about the holiday though.

You and OH do need to spend more time with each other otherwise what's the point? Well my chap has cleared off for a 3 week holiday with a chap that I have never met (he claims the chap is called Ian) and yet there are never any photos of these holidays, that's the second time he has disappeared for 3 weeks (nearly 4). I questionned it and got the answer that it takes a week to drive back from Italy - yeah, if you are riding a moped that does 30mph it does but not a car (I know I have been driven there myself so I know exactly how long it takes) Needless to say he is on his way out:j Some of his stuff is still here but that is easy dealt with - I will box it up and he can collect it or I will post it.

Anyway, I am a lot happier as I have a new man in my life (I say new - really he's old;) )

Hope you have fun tonight and that you manage to get some quality time together.

    Well done you Horace!

and Strumpet HUGE hugs your way!

Done really well today - no NSD but only spent £2 (not counting all the monthly DDs that went out today).

Oh can pay for dinner although he might not quite be aware of that yet. He owes me anyway for spending every waking moment in the gym when he should be spending some of the time with me!

The way to get him to pay is to leave your wallet at home:rotfl: Its the least he could do is buy you dinner - as for going to the gym 7 days a week that's bordering on the obsessive, I can understand 3 days at most but 7 - the man is mad:eek:

Thanks for the hugs, they are much appreciated.

Now go out tonight and find a lovely country pub that sells wonderful food and warm beer.:D

Forgot to ask about the leaving the alarm clock on the other side of the room regime going? Are you taking your meds when you are supposed to?

Strumpet - I'm sending a lovely warm porridge hug your way!

Horace - why won't you go near the Chinese quarter? I visit my Dad who lives in Staffordshire and often go on a day trip to Brum by train! Exciting!

Today I spent £30 on two carvery meals, two drinks a coffee and one pudding (DH).

Am going to try for an NSD tomorrow.

MrsP - I hate Chinese food and cannot even stand the smell, I am made to each Chinese food so will settle for lemon chicken and a spoonful of plain boiled rice (I can't stand that much really as its too sticky). I am a fusspot when it comes to food - I like my meat and two veg (something identifiable).:D

How did the 'date' go last night Strumps? Did you leave your wallet at home as I suggested in my txt? I hope OH paid for dinner or did he too leave his wallet at home and he is now tackling the pile of washing up in the pub?

What a shame! Someone has been feeding you bright yellow and red gloop and calling it Chinese food!
If you look closer, you'll find a wide array of much more palatable (and not sticky!) food!:j

You're all crazy - and that's why I love you!

Well last evening, Keith and I set off in the car at 6pm with thr roof down and drove to Kingsdale, near Ingleton and walked along the River Twiss to the Thornton Force waterfall. It was really nice watching the evening stars come out and good to spend some quality time with OH.

On the way back we stopped off at Zio's in Barrowford and had a nice Italian meal. We both had ribs for starters - you've never seen som uch meat on one plate. I couldn't eat the main course which was lasagne. It was too salty anyway but still, I was too full.

OH paid but I felt it my duty to pay the gratuity so I spent £3 bringing my monthly total to £5.

Today, I bought lunch £1.90 and put my lottery on (£12)

So total today so far: £13.90

OH is in Birmingham again tonight at another dinner so I have free reign in the house. I need to get to grips with my spending spreadsheet, sort out a couple of issues with my friends accounts, raise an invoice to him for £67.50, begin to revise for my CIMA resit in May, watch for an item I'm selling which is ending on Ebay.

The two armchairs we were going to send to the tip / freecycle have been sold on ebay for £30 which is better than nothing.

What a day!!! It's so sunny and I'm stuck indoors. On a brighter note though, the gypsy encampment has upped sticks and left in a huge convoy of rubbish, rascals & ragamuffins!
