Teeth can heal themselves. Really they can. I'm another dentist phobic and I can quite truthfully say that the handful of times I've been to a dentist, I've always come out in more pain than I've gone in. Fillings are overrated anyway.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

How can you say you did try when you've thrown in the towel?
Don't let your hard work go so easily.
At least minimise the spending, don't go mad
Toothless= not attractive
Rotting teeth = halitosis
If you want to keep your OH sweet, don't let yourself go.
Get to a dentist this week
oh this nagging is SO not me :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I can't keep a straight face :rotfl:0 -

Don't mention biscuits if he has to go to the dentist!
Empathy going your way (I don't do dentists either)
And what do you mean about the £400.00 challenge? Keep to it and put any necessary Dental costs under "medical" !Tut, trust me to find your diary too late for a comfy seat.

Hello Spud - you are one of my all time DFW heroes!! The biscuits have all gone....
I took out a dental plan through work and get some of the costs back. Had to have a new crown, so it was very cost effective!!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Strumpet - if you lived closer to me then I would come to the dentist with you and hold your hand.
Dentists are different these days - they are more sympathetic to fraidy cats like me and you. As long as you let them know you're scared they will treat you with more sympathy.
I hates the dentist (I even bit one once:rotfl: ) but I know that I have to go, its doubly painful for me because my jaw has worn away on one side so if I have to sit with my mouth open for an age it either locks in that position:eek: or dislocates:eek: :eek:
I may have a few gold crowns (on molars) but I would hate to look like Shane McGowan of the Pogues or even some kid that I went to school with who was proud of his black teeth - funnily enough he always had a girl on his arm so I guess they mustn't have had a sense of smell:rolleyes:0 -
