I spent £2.60 on getting to work and £4.60 on a starbucks.....so very very bold, but I couldn't resist! They have started doing the most gorgeous chocolate and orange muffin.....so moist....so crumbly....yummmmmm;)

LO woke early this morning and was the devil incarnate this evening when I pick her up. She won't sleep during the day unless she is in her own bed....so she doesn't get her normal 2 naps.

I'm off work for the rest of the week using up leave from last year....I had alot left over because was off sick from August to mid December (depression and anxiety---lovely side effect of marriage breakdown).

So tomorrow lo and I are going to regisiter her in the local nursery and playschool. Hopefully she'll get a place. Then bliss.....nothing to do.

I really should put Xmas decoration up into attic.....they are currently blocking the landing.....just can;t get motivated. I would overlook this if it was actually hard to get into the attic. It is a door and 13 stairs!!!! I'm am a slovenly moo.

On that subject, have any of you ever done the Enneagram?

NSD. In fact didn't leave the house or my jammies for that matter.

Will go to the nursey tomorrow. Maybe....

My aunt is getting new bedroom furniture and she has very kindly offered her old stuff to me. Brothers are going to put it into the attic until I move again. I have moved 19 times, 13 of which since I was 18 (abit of a gypsy, I think). So I'll be able to rent unfurnished or maybe with abit of luck, might be able to BUY!!!!

So the boys are going to put the Xmas decorations away for me.....see, being slovenly sometime pays off!

I have to go tomorrow to the shops for a few litle things, bread, baby wipes, washing powder....I'm sure I'll find more.

Hello, just read your thread, what's the Enneagram?

I am a single mum too and I hate the loft! and it's bloomin difficult getting the xmas stuff up there on your own too, no problem getting down - apart from dodging spiders but getting the tree in the box back up there....

    what's the Enneagram?

It is like a personality thing. There are 9 points on a circle, and every single person fits into one of the points. The reason I mentioned it, is that I did the the course when I was a Catholic Youth Leader (previous lifetime) I am a point 9 The Peacemaker. One of the traits is Procrastination! which should really be my middle name.

    It really is very interesting.

Yesterday popped down to Mr A to get cleaning stuffs.....£29.38 later (alough £9 was on baby wipes).

I checked onine banking this morning and my HB has not been paid in!! Very odd. Must give them a call on Monday.

'New' bedroom furniture arrives tomorrow....can't wait and 'new' table and chairs, kindly donated by a cousin. Slowly be surely I'm gathering un enough furniture so that when my lease is up (Feb'10) I can rent unfurnished or buy (I hope)

  • hi there, have just been reading through your diary and wanted to say how well you are doing clearing the debt, I know how you feel with the break up I used to spoil my dd cos I thought that somehow made up for him not being around but for all the money I spent on her she was quite happy playing for hours with socks for puppets and a big cardboard box as a boat or car or whatever took her fancy that day lol, hope you get the counselling sorted as having someone to talk everything through with was what helped me get through things, one of the best things I was ever told about my break up was that I needed to focus on what a tw*t my ex had turned into and that he wasnt the person I had fallen in love with and in all honesty when I started thinking like that things started looking up, at the end of the day you are the one that has your lo and he is the one missing out on all the wonderful things that she is doing.
