  • Well today only spent £2.60 on travel to & from work.

Was supposed to go carpet shopping this evening, but go some sad news. My cousins daughter passed away last night. She just turned 21 last week. Very sad :(

  • My brother was painting the baby bedroom this afternoon and the damn ceiling fell down!!!! Damn plasterers, I haven't calmed down for hours.

The ceiling needs to get replastered then repainted.....I'm furious at the delays.

Beside that spent £2.60 on travel & £3.86 on groceries.

Well New Year, New Life (here is hoping)

DD room finally finished after months of fannying about with the f8cking plasterers. (!!!!!!!) I told DD that santa was checking all the 'Big Girl' beds to make sure they were sleeping before leaving any presents. Xmas eve was the 1st night she actually could sleep in her room. 12ft x 8ft room took nearly 6months to complete!

The sitting room, I ended up just repainting and got 2 2seater settees. I still would like to get new carpet some stage in the new year.

Next on my list of things is the bathroom. The suite in there is on old council suite which was put in when the flats were built. Very badly marked enamel, loose taps etc. Would love a new one. Probably just going to have to be cheap and cheerful. Fingers crossed, I can save the money for that before the summer.

I am starting work parttime in February (3days instead of 5) so more time with DD and more time to do 'things' around the flat. Believe it or not, there are still boxes not unpacked yet. And those that have been unpacked have just been thrown with great abandond into the closest space/gap and need tidied.

There have been developements on the ex'husband' front, but I'll leave that for another time.

Lets see how long I keep this up this time.......
