Thanks FireFox

Gonna make an appointment with doc asap to talk about changing the tablets. I have just started going to CBT. My doc thinks that it will help me.

Anyway....I still haven't spent a penny this year! That'll change today. I'm going to visit my dad, I don't drive and public transport does not go to his area, so private taxi for me! It is only a few pounds so not so bad.

I have also contacted the CSA about trying to get some money from my ex-h. I used the calculator thingy on the CSA to find out what he SHOULD be paying. £54pw thats £2808pa!!!!! I won't hold my breath for this.

I personally think the man should be dangled upside down by his ankles and shook until he has paid me back every penny that he 'borrowed' .....on my CCs!!!!!! (rant over)

Just think of the satisfaction you will have though knowing that you did it all by youself without his help.

As for Ebay......not sure that I have anything worth selling.....will have a good root around for surplus stuff that somebody/anybody might want.

You'd be surprised at the !!!! people will buy!! It really is true one person's trash is another's treasure...I've sold some of what I thought was utter tat on ebay and the buyers were chuffed with it. Have a go, see what you get!

I'd defo suggest being scroogy with the xmas pressies, you've been landed in a really difficult situation by that unmentionable man, and that money needs to go towards getting you out of it - your friends will understand. I agree, go for secret santa or token pressies.

Good luck with paying your debts off, and well done on all your hard work so far!! :T

I mentioned on my last SOA some catalogues....these were paid by my lotto win on Monday.

Also I still owe my dad £600 - this will be paid with £500 in account now and £100 from next salary.

I've also arranged with my dad to save £100 toward next xmas!!

My future is definitely looking more rosey.:j :j

If I pay off £700pm (which is now toally do-able) I will be debt free in Dec 2010 instead of Feb 2013!!!!

Now all I need is a man for some regular sex and I will be the happiest woman alive:rotfl:

Hey Tiny

I've been reading your thread and have total sympathy for your tough situation. It's bad / hard enough paying your own debts...but someone else's?

I'm so glad you had such a flying start to 09 and have already managed to clear some of the debts.

Well done and good luck!

Did I read right that travelling by taxi is cheaper than bus????

Take care!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

I live in Belfast. In the hieght of 'the troubles' buses stopped coming to some parts of the city. Local community members started shuttling people about in cars and minibuses. Over the years it has turn into a taxi association.

They use black hackney cabs and fill up with people going in the same direction. Just get out and in as and when you need too.

Minimum fare £1.30, maximum fare £1.50.

Brilliant service.....and they can use bus lanes....so home in next to no time!

Spent today £4.80 on travel, £48.37 on groceries (really shouldn't have done that, but local supermarket has a meat sale on - fabulous:j ).

I was a CBT today for second session....the guy basically said that CBT is not what I need:confused: and is referring me on to humanistic councelling. Not particularly good news. Something or someone out there will eventually help me.
