  • ah but i never said who it was though did i tim - they know who they are and i can not believe that they got offended on their own post by people saying it was a silly question then they go on abother post and start on someone else for them having a silly question - bit hypercritial isn't it.

Actually i think you'll find i havent argued the fact about the carrier bags, I have only mentioned peoples attitudes towards new people on the forum.

Right, I've got more important things to do than try and implement manners into people who quiet frankly, are rude.

    Bye

    Bye

Try to implement manners to people on a forum? Strangers?

    News flash......nobodys going to listen!

Im sorry but this thread has turned into a complete joke, what do you expect.
It turned into a scientific study of the strength and life expentancy of a carrier bag supplied by Wilkinsons!

Its amusing and most are probably having a little chuckle whilst reading.

Maybe they didn't like the op's attitude to finger point blame at others for something thats their own fault.

I agree with Tim, just because some one is new on a forum does not obligate their responsibilities. The OP has probably left because no one agreed with them that this was not their fault.

We have the start of a compensation culture here in the UK, and its only going to get worse.

People need to take responsibility for their own actions, and not try to pass the blame when something goes wrong.

    Exactly...
  • Ok last comment on this subject - Daisy you seem to find it funny that you are rude and seem to think you are on a pedestal - i'd be ashamed if i was you. I hear you work in a florists - i suspect you bleat on about people moaning and generally being rude towards yourself whilst your at work and yet here you are doing the exact same thing to someone else. oh well, what goes around comes around and all that.

There's a difference between telling the OP they have no cause for complaint and taking the mick out of them and being rude towards them. I wonder, do you also moan about people who vandalise property, who would push a grandmother down to steal her purse and who probably cause chos in your area? Oh wait, THOSE people are rude and take the **** - and by your standards thats fine. . . . no wonder the UK is going to the dogs with those kinds of attitudes.

As i said - its my last comment, its starting to feel like im talking to a group of 8 year olds so i think i'll go and join in an ADULT conversation.

You know the meaning of ADULT i expect . . maybe you should all try acting like one.

Are you seriously comparing peoples comments on this thread to mugging old ladies?

The majority of people on this thread have stated the OP should take responsibility for his actions. Some of these posts may not have been polite enough for your standards, but most were meant in jest.

    [Spits in coffee]
    Are you being serious?
    :rotfl:
You imply I am childish when you are the one who has sat 'investigating' me and concluded that I 'work in a florists' - bit freaky in my opinion!

Ok, a few points...Hell, I really hate having to go all serious....[clears throat]

I was not rude on this thread. Just blunt and having a laugh like others.

I do not 'work' in a florists - nor do I bleat.

You are just as childish to be looking up my previous posts.

I am not ashamed, but thanks for your concern.

Are you seriously likening me (and others) to anti-social crime when we comment in jest about a thread on a forum? The OP was asking a question that quite a few found to be a bit daft [ahem]
I find your comment insinuating this to be quite insulting, but hey im not going to loose any sleep over it because its waaaaayyyyy over the top.

    That is all.

Of all the posts on this thread, yours is the rudist by far.

Is it polite to call people children? Compare them to muggers?

Perhaps your arguement to be polite to people would be better presented if you were, well, polite?
