Not far from me either then!!
Can I be cheeky and ask if you are using the co-op for legals? I'm keen to have a solicitor who understands how the scheme works but they've quoted me just short of £1,250 is that expensive???
That is HUGELY expensive - we paid sol fees of about £600 on a 187k property - with a couple of searches it was still under 1k.0 -
Superfran I'm so envious! well done though and hope it all goes smoothly with your move, with any luck you wont be getting the keys at 11pm this evening!
all im doing is waiting waiting waiting waiting, rang co-op again today-ID still hasnt been looked at by the caseworker so no chance of the survey and valuation being done anytime soon. Really worried that the whole thing isnt going to workbeen trying to keep the estate agent up to date so as to keep the vendor happy, just hope he doesnt mind waiting and isnt thinking about pulling out for any reason.
I think my hopes of being able to complete by the beginning of august have been dashed!
superfran when did you have your survey done?
I'm in exactly the same position... Everything has been done in my power and its the co-op that is slowing things up!0 -
Hi everyone. Just thought I'd let anyone who's applying in the north west know that they deffinately have run out of funding. I finaly had my phone interview today after applying in march. I was told that i was eligable, but all they could do was put me on a waiting list in case anyone drops out. She said they might have funding for the area again next april.0

I used one that my dad has used in Birmingham... They came out at 1k.0 -

Anyone in Kent who likes cleaning, gardening or painting rooms?!
Our survey was done about a week after our mortgage application. Strangely enough I don't recall sending 'ID' - we sent my partner's payslips, my contract and a couple of proof of address documents, but no passports of driving licenses?
I'm the same, No ID needed to be sent actually... They've only asked for P60's and Payslips...!0 -

So do you stay on the list for next april? Or do you need to apply again?0 -
On the phone to the co-op again... in fairness the call centre people are quite helpful... but it seems that i'm on the case manager stage and she has gone walkies.... greeeaaaaat.0

I had to send in some sort of photographic ID that had a signature on, 3 months of payslips, a p60, and also proof of address
There was no way IN HELL i was going to send the real things so got copies of everything and then the local co-op branch certified them all for me which was good
Rang them again today, apparently my case will be looked at tommorow or latest monday, but that's what they said this time last week so. . . . . . . !!
Estate agent has been very understanding though and has said it's all normal so not to worry
Sorry for you guys in the north west
Well done superfran!! There is hope for us all!0 -
I went on the list 5th May and chased P4P today. They say I will receive my letter in 4-6 weeks.
Congrats Superfran!0
