Would you like to go and batter the co-op people for me??
After speaking to P4P and co-op on Monday I rang P4P back yesterday to find the co-op had sent the wrong stuff through! Rang the co-op again to get them to send the right stuff through and have just spoken to P4P and they have finally had what they need from the co-op - phew!
You can't have quite been the last in the North West as I now have funding allocated :T ... I would have been coming to batter the co-op myself if the money had of run out whilst they were faffing around!0 -

They are based in Stockport (the pryamid building) off the M60 ring road lol! I'll meet you there!!0 -
We received our letter this week. Our telephone interview is a week Friday. Lets hope the funding in the South doesn't run out before then!0

Superfran I'm so envious! well done though and hope it all goes smoothly with your move, with any luck you wont be getting the keys at 11pm this evening!
all im doing is waiting waiting waiting waiting, rang co-op again today-ID still hasnt been looked at by the caseworker so no chance of the survey and valuation being done anytime soon. Really worried that the whole thing isnt going to workbeen trying to keep the estate agent up to date so as to keep the vendor happy, just hope he doesnt mind waiting and isnt thinking about pulling out for any reason.
I think my hopes of being able to complete by the beginning of august have been dashed!
superfran when did you have your survey done?0 -
Hi all
Just phoned ownhome to check waiting list times. They have now been told by their advisors it will be 12-14 weeks before a letter is recieved.
Judging by some of the posts here it will be longer than that. Sigh.
How long did people who recently got thier interview letters wait for?0 -
I only applied at the start of the month, so doubt there'll be any funding by the time it gets to me!0
-
had my interview on june 12th-from me going on the list to having the actual interview it was 16 weeks. I was told orginally it would be 6!! hang on in there0

Not far from me either then!!
Can I be cheeky and ask if you are using the co-op for legals? I'm keen to have a solicitor who understands how the scheme works but they've quoted me just short of £1,250 is that expensive???0 -
Yeh im using the co-op for all the legal stuff though the name of the people they actually use are a firm called Optima, it sounded hugely expensive to me at first but I looked around online for average costs of conveyencing and also asked parents/friends who had moved how much they had paid
I think it works out ever so slightly more expensive but buy a few quid not hundreds or anything like that
From what Iv seen and heard solicitors fees for this kind of thing are all quite similar
Going to be back on to the co-op tommorow!0 -

We got the keys at about 11am! It's all over! Well, the first part is
Anyone in Kent who likes cleaning, gardening or painting rooms?!
Our survey was done about a week after our mortgage application. Strangely enough I don't recall sending 'ID' - we sent my partner's payslips, my contract and a couple of proof of address documents, but no passports of driving licenses?0
