Own Home Scheme Pros and Cons

Thank you for the reply. That is as I suspected. I have a feeling that the figures, unfortunaltey, are just not going to work out for me because I have a set amount I want to pay for a house, a realistic value of what is it worth and so not over stretching myself. I was hoping to use the scheme towards the deposit. I will wait and see what they say on Wednesday though. Thanks again.
You should definately see what they say on Wednesday... On the purchase price / mortgage front i've actually found the scheme quite flexible!0 -

Hello,
I wondered this but asked my solicitor and pfp about this. My Solicitor told me to send this off straight away to PfP.
Your solicitor will have already recieved a copy of this document but some solicitors want to see the final document you sign, so you need to ask your solicitor if they want to see it. Chances are they won't but give them a call.

We applied in April, and were told, when we chased them up last week, that we would hear from them in July.
I've been reading today that the waiting list has been suspended, so I just called Ownhome. They told me that they are, for the moment, not taking on any new customers (although people are still free to leave their details - they just won't be contacted for "a substantial amount of time"); but that those who applied in April will still be fine.0 -

We have been waiting for survey for 3 weeks now after sending our mortgage papers to co-op. The estate agency getting impatient now. I called co-op today and they told me I can book it today before they assess our papers but if insuccifient income of proof we still have to pay for the suvey. We sent last 3 months wage slips and p60. Do you think it is alright to book the survey. She said if not they will start assessing it in 5 to 7 days0
