  • Hello all!
Congratulations to all who have completed since I last came on here. And Good luck to Tek-monkey, you'll get there in the end!
We completed on the 6th Nov and moved in the same day, everything went very smoothly and we are wll and truly settled! We managed to get everything to go through in 8 weeks, no bad going really!

I only viewed the house once before we bought it and it seemed so much bigger when we got the keys!
  • only come on here every now and then been in our house for a few months now and loving it....good luck all and its nice to see lots happening and happy endings and new beginings xxxx happy xmas all and happy New year...xxx

  • We exchanged last week, and hope to complete on Friday!! Move our stuff in the follwing day, get the bathroom done from scratch, electric sockets etc, then hopefully move in a few days before xmas !!!!!!!

Solicitor has gone for a completion day on the 18th or before, but as we have to move out of our rented house by the 15th I have explaiend that (several times....) that we need to do by the 15th. have spoken to Places for People, and the Co-op regarding the money, iyts all good and waiting for us to transfer the funds. Good knows what my lawyer is on. Though she ahs been rather good, except for a few things..

Bloody annoying though, would be living there by now, if the Co-op didn't change our Mortgage offer a day before exchanging....(vendor is paying the Stamp Duty on our House...incentive)
