Fox mange

Hi,

My friend thinks her dog has fox mange and her vet has said 'if this is what you THINK it is we can treat her!'. I thought vets were supposed to know the condition not the owner???

She has told her that skin conditions are difficult to determine...anyone else had this disease with their dog?
