And as we said earlier what difference does it make?
We have told you that courier's don't have the postage prices on an item that comes to your house so why do you feel the need to actually have to wait before one does so you can comment?
So now you know that they dont do you care to comment on how you would mark someone who sent you something on ebay via courier?0 -
Can we ease up on Harvey for a minute?
I would see a hidden postage as dodgy because just this week I heard it (on this forum) suggested as a good way for sellers to rip off buyers.
In Harvey's position I would weigh, assess and make my judgement. I am a seller as well as a buyer and know what things cost.
All said and done, I wouldn't be asking any questions unless I was unhappy with the packaging.
Harvey, it's all so subjective you're probably best off making your own mind up about this. You should be happy with your decision and not give two hoots what we think.

Well how am I the thick one as you have just totally contradicted yourself?
Perhaps you should read are posts more carefully before making yourself look even more silly then you already do.0 -

That's really low and a bit daft. The moving home boxes were generally delivered by guys on commision in dirty vans, and it was free so just welcome. the delivery from O2 was non negotiable.
Sellers inquisition? Alive and well apparently.

Well you have come to pretty much the same conclusion as myself and everyone else on here.
I was just curious that's all its no big deal although I am amazed at some of the replies.
I think its pretty obvious are answers are not good enough for Harvey and this thread has pretty much run its distance.
I refuse to lower myself to other peoples standards and start throwing insults around for no reason.0 -

I think Harvey had reason for losing cool due to aggresive and repeated questioning on unrelated topics introduced to fuddle the question. Sophistry is a vice for the wary and works better one to one, where personality can carry, rather than an open forum.
Well Harveybobbles, you got em all stirred up that time. Methinks of too much protestation.

i print most of my postage by paypal and it automatically opts to hide the postage cost, i have to tick a box if i want to show the postage costs. therefore all my paypal postage is printed with no cost showing.
i print the rest of it on the royalmail.com, i'm not even aware of an option to hide the postage costs on there.
i only charge 50p - £1 more than the actual postage cost and my dsr for postage is currently 4.80 -
I think buyers on ebay have to remember that they are not just paying for postage costs. There is the packing to be considered and proper packaging is not cheap0
