Just noticed on Onetel site.
LeisureUKTalk - free evening and weekend calls, 0.99p/month.
Offer applies to new customers only. States that existing customers continue to pay £3.99.

However, I logged in to Onetel and it is showing as available when you click on "change landline plan" so may be worth a try if you are currently paying.
TotalUKTalk Promotion is £7.99 (normally £10.99 which it stays for existing customers) for unlimited calls to 01/02 numbers at anytime, though reading on here it appears that most people would save more using 1899 etc.

These are available to NTL and BT customers - BT I think goes through CPS, NTL they send a free phonepal dialler (if you are BT then there are free services available to you with CPS rather than 99p discussed elsewhere on this thread).

good deal ,now lets hope TT dont buy onetel0

It would be interesting to know if any existing Onetel customers manage to get this offer - perhaps an email threatening to move might be the answer?0
-
Well I kind of have moved from Onetel to get a better deal but havent....
I moved to Justdialsaver.com as they offer as part of their standard package free evening and weekend calls nationwide, no monthly fee.
When I looked at the "about us" on their website, they are part of Ontel!
No probs so far with them - they handled to move over yesterday very smoothly - other than a letter and an email nothing different happened.
Their website - https://www.justdialsaver.com

Good deal - with these, 1899 etc. how long till someone pays us to use their service?0

The pricing for existing customers for the above service is £10.99pm.
OneTel currently have the same service available for new customers for £7.99pm.
I rang them and asked if this was applicable to existing customers (because if it wasn't I was going to cancel and move or re-apply) and was told that 'as I was a loyal customer - having been with them for more than 12 months' - they would put me onto the new rate.
So £3pm saved!0 -
If users want to sign up for Onetel using NTL, it would be nice if you go through the link in this earlier post of Martin's, MSE will gain a small amount which enables Martin to donate to charity, run the chat forum and keeps MSE ad-free.
Although this is an old post the link to Onetel still works.

Instead of using Onetel's dialler you get sent for customers with an NTL line, can you just program a Orchid dialler to do the same function?0

Sounds to me that it would work, why don't you email Orchid support.

Surely access to OneTel is not a CPS(Carrier Pre-Select) service when used on a cable line. CPS is only available on BT lines. On a cable line it will be accessed via an 080x number even if that is done by and Orchard Dialler, or a Phonepal.
