That reminds me of something I read in the Tightwad Gazette. An old proverb, I can't remember exactly how it was phrased, but

There's no point going to bed early to save on candles if the result is twins :rotfl:

I'm trying to learn to knit - have come up with some feeble specimins so far and they're only squares :o but will sew them together for a blanket to be used in the bedroom out of public view!
I've just started studying for qualification through an online college so will be spending evenings working on that.
    Hubby paints.
    We talk!

Thing is, once we have had dinner, bathed DD, put her to bed then got ourselves sorted it's 8ish anyway. And I'm usually pooped by 10pm!
Love and compassion to all x
  • I do cross stitch, knitting and crocheting, although I never seem to finish a project - lol! I read loads and am often in bed early to finish a book (usually from the library).

I enjoy baking, reading (especially cookbooks), making cards, making jewellery and drawing.

As well as this, BF and I have a set of Doctor Who top trumps, which we play quite often and have an ongoing score sheet! lol.
