Fitzal has put a thought in my mind.

When you do a gapburger you have to go alone. Obviously you will only be paid for the one meal but if you take an extra meal home for the OH and it is on the receipt will they assume you broke the rules and had someone with you and void the shop? Presumably when asking for a receipt they wouldn't be able to give you one for just one portion of everything?
Don't really want to drive round twice!! OH won't be too pleased if I don't go home with goodies.
Hope someone knows answer to this.

Unfortunately you will only be able to buy the one meal as otherwise it throws the timings off. Only once I had an extra item on my bill and I got penalised for it as they said it messed up the timings!!!

Would you be able to do the drive through for the assignment, then park up (check temperature of food etc) and then go inside to the counter - just make some excuse that your other half has just rung you and said he's home now so it turns out you need another portion? Not ideal, and I guess you'd have to microwave the stuff when you get home, but as long as you've checked the temperature of the first meal within five mins I think you might be able to manage it.

I've never done one of these jobs, by the way, so this is all just guesswork!!!

Hi S_cat, there was a discussion about this a few days ago and I think the outcome was if "computer says yes" then its ok, but maybe someone else can also clarify.

Thanks - I thought I'd read something about this a few days ago, but just wanted to make absolutely sure!

Lucky you Roxy, makes a nice change, I love their food too. Sure someone mentioned on here, how they never see any jobs for this place. I must admit never seen any jobs either, only the pizza competitors that do pizza's.
    Enjoy !

I have done odd jobs for Gap for quite a long time, but have never seen the chicken N..... places. Now I am wondering why?

Cookinmummy, was meant to read how are you?

Lol, also the nigerian scammer jobs, if you read the anti scamming websites like 401 scam on google etc. They always use Yellow Union payment intermediary to scam you.

    Hence the linky!

Well I am fine and dandy - am going to use that 50% off voucher for pizza hut with the kids for lunch and then we are mystery shopping a tourist attraction this afternoon (as a family) - so we are hoping it does not rain.

    Hope you are well LTD.:D

Yep - the ebay thing went right over my head - though I have unfortunately come across the nigerians on my forays onto ebay.

    Thanks S.cat.

He now says as he can't come with me he doesn't fancy warmed up burger (bit dodgy) so he is going to shove something in the microwave that he fancies!

I'll eat mine in the carpark looking like a 'billy no mates'!! That's this job all over isn't it.

Thanks again for help everyone. have a good weekend.

I thought about this last night and think I've sussed out why they only appear in particular areas. The area I'm going to today doesn't have a 'competitor pizza' place near it, and N.......... is right opposite the proper pizza place. So I guess thats why. Lucky ol' me :D

The hardest thing will be not going too much over budget ;)

i did 4 audits in edinburgh yesturday the first one was a nightmare the manager refused for me to do a thing and i had to stand at the customer service desk for 40 mins waiting for him, when he apeared he told me he wasnt paid enough to work thru his lunch,(yea because we are paid enough to stand waiting for 40 mins) anyway i stayed polite and asked him if he had any of the juice in stock as there wasnt any on the shelf, he directed me to the storeroom and told me to look myself, i was so glad to get out of there to be honest, anyway im off to read back on the thread

Not excusing the way the manager spoke to you, but he was right. You should have gone and looked yourself and taken it onto the shop floor if it was there. You don't need a manager to do that.
Here I go again on my own....
